I was interested in traditional Chinese characters, so I fell in love with calligraphy.

I remember that when I was in the fifth grade of primary school, there was a classmate named Guo Jingang in the class, who wrote well with a fountain pen, and then I happened to be at the same table with him, so I often learned from him, and I also went to his home to practice soft pen writing.

I remember when I was in elementary school, I started to accept calligraphy. At that time, we called it a big character class, which was originally a red tracing class, and there was a big character class until junior high school. After joining the work in 1965, he mainly worked on public work, and there was no condition to buy paper, pen and ink, and learning calligraphy required a lot of paper, pen and ink.

After retirement, I picked up the pen and chose to paste the words one by one. Later, I gave Tian Yunzhang's 365 lecture, and after repeated scrutiny, it slowly improved. I am still obsessed with calligraphy, and I write 500 words every day, which is only a little more.

When I was in elementary school, I liked to scribble on the wall with chalk, and once my mother came home and asked: Who wrote on the wall? I thought I had done something wrong again, and I was afraid to say that I had written it.

As a result, my mother said: I write very well, and I will study hard in the future! It was a great encouragement to receive my mother's praise, and since then, I have been in junior high school, high school, and university, and have been working.

Under the influence of my younger brother, I changed my career to become a middle school art teacher. Maybe it's because of genes. My mother did not study because of the difficulties of her hometown, but she was talented and could not read a word, but she was able to draw all kinds of embroidered shoes by herself.

It was after reading some famous people's paintings and calligraphy that I became very interested in this.

Under the guidance of the teacher, when I was in junior high school, the head teacher, Mr. Yan, was a Chinese teacher, and he was very beautiful on the blackboard, and often held some calligraphy competitions. And why can I often get the first prize when my foundation is not good? Because the teacher's way of awarding is very special, she does not choose which one writes the best, but which one has made the most progress!

Interest in calligraphy and painting for many people is related to the childhood growth environment, childhood around the family or friends engaged in calligraphy or painting, childhood imitation ability is very strong, the feeling of new things is also very profound, as you grow up with the opportunity to learn calligraphy and painting, the probability of choosing to enter this circle is very great. When I was a child, my father was an old carpenter, and he was also exposed to some carvings and drawings and patterns, and he also had some basic painting foundation to do carpentry, plus there was a cloisonné production workshop in the village at that time, and I often saw these, which also made me very interested in painting and sculpture, so I embarked on the road of painting.
