To be honest, I originally wanted to become a neurologist after the college entrance examination, but I was assigned to the specialty of stomatology by accident. However, in the process of studying, I feel that I have gradually developed a deep love for my major.

It doesn't matter how much money you make, how little money you make, relying on your own craftsmanship to earn the smile of the patient is the truth.

I will admit patients with periodontal combined endodontic lesions to save a tooth and take the initiative to ask them to come over for follow-up visits again and again. It's easy to pull out a tooth, but it's hard to save a tooth. I would spend 40 minutes trying to persuade a patient who wants to have a tooth extracted just because of tooth decay not to have it removed, instead of 5 minutes doing her a tooth extraction.

I feel that I value every tooth of every person more than she cherishes her own teeth.

Studying medicine is inherently drudgery. But the dental profession is not bad. If you study hard, you can get a medical practitioner's certificate after a few years, and even if you can't get into a public hospital, you can practice and open an outpatient clinic on your own, and if you make money, you can see your own skills.

Relatively speaking, it is still a good career, I make more money, I am respected, I am a person from the past, but no one will guarantee that the future will be good, things are always changing, and it depends on personal development. ‍‍

It's really good to be a dentist, even if I stay up late to read literature and do experiments for graduation, I still find this job interesting. After my college entrance examination, my father asked me to apply for dentistry, but I wanted to apply for network engineering.
