Thanksgiving for the crop.
My girlfriend's uncle came to Israel three years ago to work as a bricklayer, and one day he told us about a phenomenon that happened in that country, and it really touched us.
Whenever the crops were ripe, the crops in Israel were to set aside a portion of the four corners of the fields near the roadside from harvesting when they were ripe. This phenomenon aroused the uncle's curiosity, and he asked the locals for the reason. The locals explained that it was God who had given the Jewish people a happy life today, and that they repaid the harvest by setting aside the four corners of the crop in gratitude, which not only rewarded God, but also provided convenience for those poor passers-by who passed through the area without food, so that they would not be left without food because of poverty and long journeys.
The crops of the four corners, as long as there is a need, anyone can harvest them and take them to their homes, and no one will refuse, reprimand, or hold you accountable. They believe that those who live in happiness should leave some wheat for those who are in distress, and that such a life is truly quality happiness.
The uncle also said that in Israel, even if the clothes were old or torn, if they were to be thrown into the garbage bin, they should be washed and folded neatly and respectfully placed in the garbage bin, so that people living in poverty could wear them again.
For some reason, listening to that uncle's narration, my heart warmed. Coming from a rural background, I have one more idea. It is customary for us to harvest wheat by cutting the crops in the field clean, and to pick up the crops that are scattered in the field over and over again, so that the sweat of our own work can be returned to the storehouse, but the Israelites are very touching and admirable.
Different countries have different customs, but there is one emotion that does not discriminate between country, race, or skin color, and that is love. Love is the common language, the common watch, the common expectation, and the common blood of this world.
Think about it, when the blood of love penetrates the constraints and prejudices of the world, like the wheat left in the harvest, waiting for those who need it to harvest, so that they can face the world with gratitude, then how can the world not shine brilliantly?
If life is a piece of land, then each of us should set aside some crops. When you are confident, leave some confidence for the people around you; When you are happy, leave some happiness for those who have helped you; When you are happy, share some happiness with those who are silently paying attention to you; When you succeed, give some encouragement to those who are struggling; When you are proud, give some pride to the disappointed person in life. These positive spiritual elements of life are not diminished by giving, but are increased by giving.
Even in the season of depression, such a vast field of crops is not barren because of the crops set aside; Even in the face of disasters, the once fertile land is not barren by giving. As long as we know how to leave some grateful crops in our hearts, on every plain day, we are always flowing with the fragrance of spring and mellow wine.
The years are glorious, the flowers bloom and fall, and the grateful crops teach us a kind of happiness addition, as long as you have the seeds of love in your heart.

Flowers are grateful for the rain and dew, because the rain and dew nourish its growth; The goshawk is grateful to the sky, because the sky makes it fly; The mountains are grateful to the earth, because the earth makes it towering; I am grateful to my teacher for opening the door of wisdom and allowing me to swim in the ocean of knowledge. Throughout my upbringing, your strong love for teachers has always been with me.
I remember when I first started middle school, I was unfamiliar with everything about school. For this reason, even if I know the answer to a question in class, I am always hesitant to raise my hand. You may have noticed that the encouraging gaze was thrown at me, as if to say:
Come and fly, don't be afraid. Pluck up the courage to give it a try. It doesn't matter if you get it wrong.
It was your gentle gaze that gave me courage. I immediately raised my hand, and although the answer was not very good, you smiled and praised me. It was because of this first time that I increased my courage, and over time, I developed a good habit of actively raising my hand to speak in class.
When I ask you for advice when I encounter a problem, you are always willing to accept it, patiently explain the problem ideas to me, over and over again, and never tire of it. When I got this question right through your explanation, you had a pleasant smile on your face.
When you found out that I was sick, you kept asking me if I was feeling sick and if I wanted to go to the hospital for ......Until the next morning, when I came to school, you asked me with concern, "Are you feeling better?" It is your meticulous care for my life, like spring rain that moistens my young heart, makes me feel the second family affection, looking at you, I really want to say: "Thank you, teacher."
When I did something wrong, you didn't shout at me, but softly asked me why it was and helped me solve my problems. I can't thank you so much! You distinguish between right and wrong, and you never criticize people for no reason.
When I did well in my mid-term exams, you praised me in class and took the lead in applauding. You know, the teacher's small applause has added me confidence on the road of learning and made me clear about the goal of struggle.
When I ......Mr. Zhou is usually kind to us, just like a friend; When she was in class, she was very strict, serious and meticulous in class, and she was a responsible teacher.
In addition, she treats every student equally, never favors any one classmate, and cares about every student's learning.
It's been almost a year, and in this year, no matter what comes our way, you will face it with us. You have given us so much, as deep as the sea and as high as the blue sky. Teacher, you are amazing in my eyes.
I finally understood: "The spring silkworm is dead to the end, and the wax torch turns to ashes and tears begin to dry". Because what you are doing is silent dedication and selfless sacrifice.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart, my teacher! Thank you for your praise and encouragement when we have achieved good results, thank you for your criticism and education when we make mistakes, and thank you for your care and help when we encounter difficulties.
In the future, whether I become a towering tree or a low shrub, I will bless you with the green of my life, my teacher!
Growing up, I read countless books, but none of them left much of an impression. In this week, the teacher lent me a book, it is called "100 Thanksgiving Stories for Primary School Students to Benefit Their Lives", after reading this book, I learned that gratitude is the most precious, and the person who knows how to be grateful is the richest person in life, and there is a story in it that touches me the most, that is: Sister, you are my first girl waiting in the rain. >>>More
