The calligrapher Wang Xianzhi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the word Zijing, is the seventh son of Wang Xizhi, the official to the Chinese book order, known as "Wang Daling". Wang Xianzhi has been learning words from his father Wang Xizhi since he was a child. According to legend, Wang Xianzhi once asked his father for the secret of learning calligraphy, and his father pointed to the eighteen water tanks in the courtyard and said:
The secret is in these tanks, and you can find out when you write down the water in the eighteen tanks. ”
Wang Xianzhi was unconvinced, thinking that although he was small, he could write well, and he was determined to show his father some skills. So I started from scratch to practice the basics. He practiced horizontal, vertical, pointed, apostrophe, and pinch according to his father's handwriting every day, and practiced for two years before showing it to his father.
Wang Xizhi smiled but did not answer. The mother said, "It's a bit like an iron cut."
It's kind of like a silver hook. From the fifth year onwards, Wang Xianzhi practiced complete characters every day, and wrote for four years before showing the words to his father. Wang Xizhi still shook his head and sighed when he saw it, and when he saw that there was a "big" word, he thought that the posture was tight at the top and loose at the bottom, so he clicked a little below and became the word "too".
Wang Xianzhi showed the words to his mother, and his mother looked at them one by one, and it took three days to read them, and finally sighed and said: "My son has been practicing calligraphy for 3,000 days, and there is only a little like Xizhi." Wang Xianzhi was in a daze, it turned out that the point that his mother was referring to was the point that his father added under the word "big"!
Wang Xianzhi was so ashamed that he walked out of the house in annoyance, and when he came to the city gate, he saw an old woman selling pancakes. After the old woman branded one, she picked it up with bamboo chopsticks, and put it into the bamboo plaque behind her, and stacked them neatly. Wang Xianzhi was very surprised when he saw it, so he stepped forward and asked the old woman:
You don't look back, why are you so accurate? The old woman: "It's nothing, it's just like Wang Xizhi's handwriting, skillful."
Wang Xianzhi suddenly woke up and was greatly inspired, so he went home and continued to practice calligraphy. One day, Wang Xizhi quietly walked behind his son, suddenly pulled out the pen in his hand, did not pull it, and sighed: "There should be a big name again here."
He knew that Wang Xianzhi had the strength to write, so he taught him carefully.
It is said that Wang Xianzhi completely wrote out the eighteen vats of ink in the courtyard. Later, he also became a famous calligrapher of the Jin Dynasty. His calligraphy was handsome, heroic, and imposing, and had a great influence on future generations. With the same name as Wang Xizhi, he is also known as the "two kings".

Monk Zhiyong's "Retirement Pen Mound".
The famous calligrapher Zhiyong monk of the Sui and Tang dynasties was the seventh grandson of Wang Xizhi. It is said that he once lived upstairs in Yongxin Temple and studied hard for 30 years. He had a large bamboo basket beside him, threw the bald pen into the bamboo basket, filled it with five baskets, and later took the bald pen and buried it together, which was called the "Pen Removal Mound".
There are more than 800 copies of the "Thousand Character Text" written by him, which are scattered in various temples in the south of the Yangtze River. "As long as the kung fu is deep, the iron pestle is sharpened into an embroidery needle", Zhiyong finally became a famous calligrapher at that time, and there was an endless stream of people who came to him to write every day, and he stepped through the door of his house, so he wrapped it with iron sheet, which was called "iron threshold" The ancients said: "Water drops are worn by stones, and the rope is sawed and the wood is broken", is not it the portrayal of Zhiyong monk?

When traveling to the west of the mountain in Jubei, the local king has a big banquet to entertain, and the staff has heard the name of Banqiao for a long time, and is eager to get its ink treasure, so he entertains Banqiao with the local famous "confused dishes". Muddy dishes are first wrapped in batter, chicken, fish, meat, etc., and slowly fried over low heat until the surface is golden.
After Zheng Banqiao tasted the Hutu cuisine, he was full of praise, so he asked Wang Yuanwai the names of these dishes, and the Yuanwai replied: "We call it Mutu cuisine locally." "Seeing that Banqiao is on the rise, he asked Banqiao to inscribe.
Banqiao noticed his intentions early, and he still happily picked up the pen and wrote down four big words: It's rare to be confused. Since then, rare confusion has spread.
