The Buddha looked at a bowl of water, 84,000 insects", 25,600 years ago, the Buddha looked at a glass of water, and the Buddha said that there were 84,000 insects in it. You don't have to say 2,500 years ago, 50 years ago, someone told you you didn't believe it, right? Some people say:
Huh! There are 84,000 insects in this glass of water, you look at it, it is clear and transparent, there are 84,000 insects, you are not talking nonsense, but now you all know, bacteria, viruses, Buddha, he knew it 25,600 years ago. What else does the "Diamond Sutra" say, "If the three thousand worlds are shattered into dust, it is a fine dust, would it be better to have more?"
He asked Subodhi, and Subodhi said, "Many, World-Honored One!" But there is another sentence after that, the Buddha said:
The mote crowd, that is, the non-mote crowd, is the mote crowd.
What does that mean? One heart and three treasures! Let's ignore the latter sentence for now.
What does the Buddha mean when he said, "Three thousand worlds shattered into dust"? We don't have to care about the three thousand worlds, we just care about our material universe, can we be broken into dust? Of course.
You smashed this ceiling, is it dust, particles, particles are the smallest? No, further down, molecules. Further down, atoms.
Atoms, nuclei, electrons, neutrons, protons, quarks, all the way to the back, what photons, hydrogen, now Nobel Prize winners, see who can divide this matter, that is, quantum physics, down to the limit, to the limit. What is the limit now, sine wave, the simplest kind of existence is like this, like a wave, or like a dragon, like a snake, so there is a saying that we are the descendants of the dragon, that is, the totem of the sine wave.

The drop of water that we see is the (partial) division of our respective eighth consciousness, and this part of the division may likewise be held by or increase by the other sentient eighth consciousnesses, such as some 'wet' sentient beings, the number may be less or more variable, and the number may be more than 84,000.
These 'activities' of the 8 sentient beings will change and continue to be separated, but the strength is strong or weak.
Buddhism holds that the power of holding mantras, vows, and so on is very powerful, and if someone 'drinks' this [drop of water], and he makes a mantra and makes a vow to dedicate to these sentient beings who he is temporarily unaware of, then the power of the eighth consciousness in the middle, and even the trajectory of the 'activities' of each eighth consciousness, will also change.
In fact, we will never have worms in our bodies (the 8 consciousnesses) and so on, because our own 8 consciousnesses only have perception, division, attachment, etc., and even if there is an extremely insect-like division, it is not a real worm, and the Buddha said that this is the division of the phase, which is an illusion, a bubble.
However, if our blessings, cultivation powers, and so on are insufficient, then it is still possible that we will not be able to withstand the power of the eight consciousnesses of these sentient beings who are holding on to this drop of water.
Think about this and then extend it to our whole body, our environment, our world, our Pure Land, and so on.

From "Peni Daily". Written by Ming Dynasty sex. It's a thing of the past.
You look at it like this and see it in a way that makes sense. It's similar to the meaning of "one flower, one world, one leaf, one Bodhi". It's a bit of a crowd.
The following text, "If you do not hold this mantra, it is like eating the flesh of living beings" is not only the compassion of the Buddha, but also the precept of the monks.
-
The content of the water purification mantra, the Buddha has compassion, drinking water for fear of hurting the insects in the water, chanting the mantra excessively before drinking water. When the Buddha was enlightened, there was no modern science, no microscope, but to be able to say this, modern science confirms the existence of bacteria, so Buddhists say "Buddhism is boundless", but always say how the Buddha is supernatural is Buddhists to put gold on themselves or can improve their own cultivation...
-
As the scriptures say, it is directly expressed very clearly, a flower and a world are a flower and a world, and the Buddha view is the Buddha view.
-
The Buddha saw that there was a lot of life in a bowl of water.
-
The Buddha did not say that this was proposed by later generations, around the end of the Ming Dynasty.
Searching through the "Buddhist scriptures", in fact, we can't find the earliest version of this sentence, which comes from the "Peni Riyonglu". And "Bini Ri Yonglu" only appeared in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, that is to say, "the Buddha views a bowl of water with 84,000 insects", which is not said by the Buddha.
There is a special paragraph in the "Bini Daily Record" that every day from getting up to bed, what to do, then drinking water is also particular:
Drinking mantras. If you don't recite this mantra, it's like eating the flesh of all living beings.
-
Bacteria are microorganisms and cannot be called insects.
-
This is the early days.
Venerable Mulian did not dare to drink water because he found life in the water when he used the Divine Eye**. Almost died of thirst. When the Buddha knew this, he said this. Life is invisible to the naked eye. Otherwise, there is life in the air. Don't you breathe?

Seen through a microscope. An ancient man in my country named Yunqiu was very fond of strange things. Lenses were introduced to China during the Ming Dynasty, and Sun Yunqiu fell in love with lenses as soon as he came into contact.
Glasses like those used by modern people have appeared in the Ming Dynasty, and are not much different from modern glasses, and the glasses of that period were invented by Sun Yunqiu.
In many costume dramas, occasionally people can see the ancients holding a small telescope, and the audience can't help but be amazed when they watch it, and they don't know how the ancients invented it. In fact, these costume dramas basically tell the stories of the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty, and the telescopes in their hands were first invented by Sun Yunqiu, not imported into China from abroad as people imagined.
Sun Yunqiu's hobby of lenses has reached the level of obsession, to what extent is he obsessed? He dedicated his life to lenses, and wrote a book "The History of Mirrors" for this purpose. The Chinese version of the microscope was invented under Sun Yunqiu's continuous research.
Sun Yunqiu's research on lenses is not only a simple arrangement and combination, assembling lenses into glasses and telescopes, he also likes to polish lenses very much. After all, the microscope has very high requirements for lenses, and ordinary lenses are not used at all, and can only be used as a magnifying glass. Under Sun Yunqiu's continuous polishing and research, the lens finally entered the realm of "microscopic", and he saw small microorganisms.
Of course, what Sun Yunqiu saw was nothing more than a very basic large-scale microorganism, but this was enough to subvert people's cognition, and then there was a saying that "a bowl of water in the Buddha's view, 84,000 insects".
The origin of the phrase "a bowl of water in the Buddha's view, 84,000 insects" is not particularly long, it is only from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties of the "Bini Daily Record", that is, the period of Sun Yunqiu. So everything can be explained, Sun Yunqiu discovered the microorganism through a homemade microscope, and then everyone was shocked, and then some Buddhists wrote this incident into the Buddhist scriptures. On the whole, in fact, in ancient times, it was not as backward as people thought.
-
Sun Yunqiu, an optical instrument manufacturer, is the eyepiece he made, that is, the microscope can see the parasites in the water, so the ancients knew.
-
It is the microscope invented by Sun Yunqiu to observe microorganisms in water. Sun Yunqiu's greatest achievement, or in the manufacture of optics and optical instruments, according to the data show that telescopes and glasses have been introduced to China in the Yuan Dynasty, Sun Yunqiu visited famous teachers, learned the principles of optics, and made his own instruments, storage eyepieces, kaleidoscopes, mandarin duck glasses, magnifying glasses, illusion mirrors, night mirrors, telescopes (telescopes) and so on can be made.
-
A scientific and technological talent in the Ming Dynasty - Sun Yunqiu.
Sun Yunqiu's greatest achievement is still in optics and optical instrument manufacturing. Among them, he invented a storage eyepiece, which is actually a microscope, and he also invented the "microscope", that is, the compound microscope. At that time, Sun Yunqiu was also a famous figure, and many people used the telescope he made to observe the city on the mountain, and used the eyepiece to observe the microscopic world.
Therefore, it is normal to use Sun Yunqiu's microscope to observe the insects in the water.

To put it bluntly, it's just pretending to be forced, and it seems that he is just forcing himself to be high. Journey to the West is contradictory to what he says, during the Antiy Conference, he preached that his day had no concept of time, and that it was Elysium, and later said that there were seven days in the cave and a thousand years in the world.
-
When water droplets are exposed to sunlight, microorganisms can be seen when they are transmitted and magnified. A drop of water is not only forty-eight thousand, but also a bowl of water?
-
This shows that in the delirium of climbing, ignorance is not lonely.

The mobile phone in your hand was invented by the Buddha, isn't it?

Most of today's rural children are only children, and their parents work outside the home all year round, so they don't have much time to educate their children. It was all handed over to the grandparents, and the old man regarded his grandchildren as pearls of applause. Because of this, there are two extremes in family education, on the one hand, the excessive arrogance, excessive care and unprincipled accommodation of grandparents. >>>More
