(production date October 20, 2015) The coliform bacteria of the gram of Southern Black Sesame Paste (production date October 27, 2015) exceeded the standard, and the total number of colonies of 600 grams of Southern Black Sesame Paste (sugar-free) (production date January 6, 2016) exceeded the standard.
This is not the first time that Southern Black Sesame Paste products have been inspected as unqualified. In January this year, the Beijing Municipal Food and Drug Administration announced on its official website that five batches of coliform bacteria were found to exceed the standard of coliform bacteria in five batches of southern black sesame paste. On January 22, Southern Black Sesame issued an apology letter on its official website.
In response to this random inspection, the official website of Southern Black Sesame spoke again, but not in the form of an apology letter, but a simple explanation of the situation. The company said it had received a "Notice of Food Safety Sampling Inspection Results" from the Jiangxi Provincial Food and Drug Administration in June this year, and subsequently recalled a total of more than 150 bags of problematic products.
