My experience is that if you don't have the habit of watching TV while eating and don't have frequent guests at home, the coffee table really isn't a must. I have lived in my house for more than ten years, and I didn't buy a coffee table at the beginning, and after so many years, I don't seem to feel any special inconvenience. Occasionally, a guest will be surprised that I don't have a coffee table at home!

But the biggest advantage of not having a coffee table is that the living room is more spacious, you can lie on the sofa and watch TV, you can exercise while watching TV, and you can sit on the ground and play. I can't watch the TV for a few minutes a day, and sometimes even turn it on once a few days, so I don't think it's necessary now! In addition to a comfortable sofa, the living room should be arranged according to the owner's personal preference.

With the popularity of minimalism in the home circle, people pay more and more attention to the whereabouts of things. In the past, we bought things because everyone bought them, and if I didn't buy them, I was an outlier. Now I buy things more rationally, and I only buy what I like, need, and practical.

The same is true for furniture products, where sofas, coffee tables, and televisions used to be standard in the living room. Now more and more families are starting to abandon one or two, some people have removed the TV, some people have thrown away the coffee table. Actually, there is no right or wrong in this.

Some people are worried, without the coffee table, where will I put my snacks, remote control, books and magazines? Lazy and tired people, even if they have a large coffee table of one or two meters, it is full of all kinds of sundries, takeaways and unwashed dishes and chopsticks. Sometimes, the misuse of objects not only does not improve people's lives, but instead becomes a drag. ‍‍

When you think that the coffee table is redundant, the coffee table is redundant to your home. We don't buy coffee tables because other people need coffee tables, but I need coffee tables. ‍‍
