Plant Observation Diary (Garlic).
On March 1st, I took a piece of garlic and gently peeled off the white skin on the outside; Then I found an empty mineral water bottle and cut off the top piece, leaving only the bottom part; Then pour half of the water and put the garlic in again. Any idea what I'm doing? That's right!
I'm growing garlic.
Today, March 2nd, I noticed a little green coming out of the garlic head. The garlic is about to sprout! I hurriedly changed a bottle of water, and found that the root had grown, and I took a ruler to measure it, and the root only grew a little bit, about 1 mm.
March 4th Today, I came to see my garlic, ah, the garlic sprouts were a small dim spot the day before yesterday, and I can't see it clearly, and today the green sprouts have come out, there are two of them, about 7 mm long. I was afraid that there would not be enough nutrients in the water, so I changed the water again.
March 5.
Today, I noticed that the green shoots of the garlic have grown, about 1 cm long, and the other one has grown faster, a total of cm. When I changed the water, I measured that the garlic root had grown by 4 mm, for a total of 5 mm.
March 6th Today, I found that garlic grows so weakly. It was probably malnourished, so I added two compound fertilizers to it, hoping that it would grow up faster and that it would grow stronger.
Today, March 8th, I found that the little green shoots of garlic have really grown taller, and they are more robust, I am very happy, and hurriedly add another compound fertilizer, for fear that the nutrients in the water can not meet the growth of garlic. I also noticed that the two little green shoots had grown by another 1 centimeter, the tallest one was 2 centimeters, and the one that was a little short was 2 centimeters long. The garlic root also became a swirling shape.
On March 9th today, I found that the green shoots of garlic were 3 mm long, the tallest one was centimeters, the middle one was centimeters, and the shortest one was 6 mm long. I can't measure the garlic root with a ruler because the root is spindled up, and I estimate it to be 6 mm long.
March 10th.
Today, I found that one of the 3 green shoots was less than 1 mm in the sprout, and I added another compound fertilizer. I took a ruler and measured it, and the longest one was 3 centimeters long, but it was still too weak, maybe it was due to malnutrition and lack of sunlight. So I planted it in a pot and put it on the balcony where it could bask in the sun, so that it could have enough nutrients and sunlight.
With soil and enough sunlight, it is sure to grow faster and better!

My exploration.
Once, the teacher left us a special assignment - let us use waste items to make a work with scientific and technological content.
I thought about it and decided to "build a ship". When I got home, I found waste styrofoam for the hull, old toothpicks instead of steel nails, blue pen drawings for the windows, and small red flags made with labels for Arowana oil. Everything is in line with the principle of waste utilization. A catamaran passenger ship was finally made.
I happily lowered the boat into the pool, but to my displeasure it floated on the surface of the water but did not move. How can I make it go? I pondered for a while.
Suddenly, my eyes lit up. One day not long ago, I was using a few soap discs, and while the boat was playing in the tub, I suddenly noticed that one soap dispers was moving, and the others were floating there. Intrigued, I picked it up and saw a small bar of soap stuck underneath it.
I thought to myself: Could it be this little piece of soap that works? yes, why not give it a try?
I cut off a piece of soap with a knife and stuck it to the bottom of the boat, but I didn't see the boat move. Hey? Why doesn't it work.
Oh, maybe it's stuck in the wrong place? I readjusted a few times, but it still didn't move, and at this point, I was a little disheartened. I thought forget it.
Just as I was about to give up, "I had to think about it for months, and ninety-nine times I was wrong, but the hundredth time I was right." This famous quote of Albert Einstein rang in my ears for a long time. Yes!
How can you do things halfway? I pulled myself together again and tried it again, and finally I dug a groove under the waterline at the stern of the boat and glued a small piece of soap to it. When the boat is flooded again, wow!
I saw it slowly drive straight ahead.
Looking at the boat, I muttered, "Why does soap make the boat move?" Heard by the father on the side, he patiently explained: "It's because the surface tension of the soap is greater than that of water." It dawned on me.
Through this experiment, I learned that only by being bold can we succeed.

Leaves that can "change color".
On a crisp autumn day, I read a book on my computer called "Children's Encyclopedia" and said that leaves can also change color, is this true? I was skeptical and decided to see for myself.
I came to the yard and didn't know which tree to choose. I looked at it and said, okay, that's it. I walked under the camphor tree, and I gently turned over a green leaf, and saw that the back of it was tender and green, like a little girl in a green dress.
I turned over the grown leaves again, and they were verdant and green, ready to be used as my gouache paint. I thought about it, maybe it was a tree that absorbs minerals from the air. But there is no hole in the tree, how can it be absorbed?
I asked the computer with a little question mark.
As soon as I got home, the computer gave me the answer. It turned out that in the leaves of the plant. Contains many natural pigments such as green, lutein, anthocyanins, and carotene.
The color of the leaves is caused by the different amounts and proportions of these pigments. As the temperature drops, the light becomes weaker, the chlorophyll synthesis is blocked, and the chlorophyll is unstable.
Ah, there are so many natural pigments in the leaves, and if I had so many natural pigments in my body, I would be able to make so many colors!

The residents of the community were observed, and undesirable factors were found.
By chance, I found that the grass in the stone crevice in front of the door had grown a new leaf, and it turned out that it also wanted to repay the love of Chunguang. By chance, I heard the first "Mom" called out by a babbling child, and it turned out to be the most beautiful voice in the world By chance, I found that love was everywhere! >>>More

Cheers to yourself.
In life, we are always accustomed to applauding others and envying the perfection of others, while turning a blind eye to some of our own outstanding advantages and disapproving them. Life needs to be applauded, and we have to applaud ourselves. >>>More
