Numbers 21 records a number of events, especially with regard to the conflict between the Israelites and the Canaanites.
In this chapter, King Arad, a Canaanite who lived in the Southland, heard that the Israelites were coming from the road of Atarim, and he fought against the Israelites and took several of them captive. The Israelites made a vow to the LORD that if the LORD delivered this people to them, they would destroy their cities completely. Jehovah answered the Israelites' prayer and delivered the Canaanites to them, and they destroyed the Canaanites and their cities.
The place came to be known as Horma, which means "to destroy".
In addition, the Israelites began to complain about the irritability of the journey from Mount Hor to the Red Sea and to question their leadership against God and Moses. As a result, Yahweh sent out fiery serpents, which bit many people and caused the death of many Israelites. To alleviate the situation, Moses made a bronze serpent and hung it on a pole, and a person bitten by the snake could survive simply by looking at the brass serpent.

The main contents of Numbers 21 are as follows:
Israel. It's been almost forty years since the Exodus, and now, Aaron.
After their deaths, they were with Canaan in the Promised Land.
Men fight, and the first battle is won (vv.1–3). It was in this place that Israel attempted to force its way into Canaan at Hormah after the spies reported (Hormah, cf. 14:45).
Sadly, they did not maintain a good attitude of trusting God, and in verses 4-9, the people complained about the lack of food and said that they were tired of the tasteless food of manna, which was extremely disrespectful. As always, this angered Jehovah.
cf. 11:33). He unleashed deadly fiery serpents to bite them to death as a warning. Poor Moses.
Pray urgently as usual. God then commanded Moses to make a bronze serpent to look upon and heal those who had been bitten by the fiery serpent.
To the Israelites, the serpent was the embodiment of sin and unclean (Leviticus 11:41-42).Gen. 3). Sacrifice from the Old Testament.
and the principles of the rite of cleansing, that the sacrificial animals were killed so that sinners might live; The blood that has been shed defiles a person and cleanses people and things. The ashes of a dead red cow cleanse those who touch the dead. These liturgies are reversed: they defile objects and actions, and they have the opposite effect in the liturgy to make people clean.

Numbers 28 tells of God's command to Moses to command the sacrifices to be made by the Israelites at different feasts. The reason why these feast-related sacrifices are mentioned again here is in preparation for the Israelites' imminent entry into the land of Canaan.
When the Israelites entered Canaan, their way of life would be very different from that of the wilderness, they would settle down, they would become rich; Their daily arrangements will no longer follow God's pillar of clouds and fire, and their heart of God's dependence will gradually relax.
At this time, God wasted no time in commanding the Israelites to observe the feasts and related sacrifices in order to remind the entire congregation of Israel not to forget God in the future because of their entry into the land of Canaan. Rather, they were to give thanksgiving and praise to God at different feasts, as they were in the wilderness, at different feasts.
Relationship with chapter 29.
Numbers 28 and 29 are about sacrifice, and the key to victory is God, and the key to our victory is to please God.
When we read the Bible, we have to have a habit of grasping for words that are repeated, and often the ones that are repeated over and over again are the key and God's will. It's not because God or Moses liked to repeat it when they wrote the Bible, but because it's important.

In the fourth chapter of Numbers, the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Count all the sons of Kohathat, according to their families, and by their families, and by their families, and from fifty years old, to all those who come to serve and do work in the tabernacle of the congregation. …And it came to pass, when the camp was about to be set up, that Aaron and his sons had covered the sanctuary and all its vessels, and the sons of Kohath were to come and carry it, but they should not touch the holy things, lest they die.
These things were to be carried by the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation. ......And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, Ye shall not cut off the tribe of the Kohathites from among the Levites.
And it shall come to pass, when they shall come near the most holy things, that Aaron and his sons shall go in, and send every one of them that he shall do and that which he shall carry. Thus do unto them, that they may live and not die. But they shall not enter the sanctuary for a while, lest they die.
Num. 4:1-3, 15, 17-20) Although the tribe of Levi served the tabernacle full-time in the tabernacle, they did not serve as they wished, but did not do what they wanted to do in the tabernacle, but according to God's instructions, and in a certain order and order. The age of a minister is from thirty to fifty years old.
And it came to pass at the beginning of the camp that Aaron and his sons were to go in and take down the veil of the ark of the Chamber, and cover it with sealskins, and put on the staves with a blanket of pure blue. And he spread a blue blanket on the table on which the bread was shown, and set on top the plates, and the spoons, and the spoons, and the cups. and there shall be a standing bread on the table.
And they shall put on a scarlet blanket and a sea dog skin, and put on the bars. Take a blue blanket and cover the candlestick, and the lamps, and the scissors, and the wax discs, and all the vessels that are in place of oil. And thou shalt wrap the candlestick and all its vessels in the seal's skin, and put them on the carrying rack.
And thou shalt spread a blue blanket over the golden altar, and cover it with the skin of a sea dog, and put on the staves. And thou shalt wrap all the vessels of the sanctuary in a blue blanket, and cover them with the skin of the seals, and lay them on the carrying rack. and thou shalt take away the ashes from the altar and spread a purple blanket upon it; And thou shalt set upon the altar all the vessels of the fire, and the forks of meat, and the shovels, and the plates, and all the vessels of the altar, and put on the staves, covered with the skins of the sea dogs.
All of this must be done according to God's command. We do the same gospel in the church as the Levites, and we must not add any ideas to anything about the gospel. For we are not serving ourselves or men, but we are serving the holy and righteous God who created all things.
At the same time, it is also for every soul to build the temple of the tabernacle in the heart of every soul, so that all these works must be guided by God through the instructions of servants like Moses in the Bible, and be guided to serve God like the Levites, and God will bless in all things. Give thanks to God for His grace and glory to God.
