The time of construction noise disturbance in residential areas refers to the period between 22 p.m. and 6 a.m. According to the regulations, Class 1 living areas, with decibels exceeding 55 decibels during the day and 45 decibels at night, and Class 2 living areas, with decibels exceeding 60 decibels during the day and 50 decibels at night, are all noise nuisances; Daytime refers to 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m

The period between 00 and the night is between 22:00 and 6:00 the next day.

The decoration time in the community is from 12 o'clock to 14 o'clock, and from 19 o'clock to 7 o'clock the next day. The time set by each province varies, but it is much the same, and the operation of the residents during the normal rest time is considered a nuisance. The allowable decoration time is concentrated from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

From 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning, if the decibel is higher than 80 decibels, it is a nuisance. Noise disturbances can be reported to the police. Judging by the loudness of the sound, if the noise level is reached, an alarm can be called.

The state clearly stipulates the maximum limits for environmental noise in five types of urban areas:

1. Recuperation area, high-end villa area, high-end hotel area, 50 dB during the day and 40 dB at night;

2. In areas dominated by residential, cultural and educational institutions, 55 decibels during the day and 45 decibels at night;

3. Residential, commercial and industrial mixed areas, 60 dB during the day and 50 dB at night;

4. Industrial zone, 65 dB during the day and 55 dB at night;

5. In the areas on both sides of the road traffic arteries, inland waterways, main and secondary railway lines in the city, 70 decibels during the day and 55 decibels at night (night refers to 22 o'clock to 6 o'clock the next morning).

Noise Classification Range:

1. If the operation unit works at 10 o'clock at night and 6 o'clock the next morning, it shall obtain a night operation certificate issued by the environmental protection department, and the construction unit shall also announce it to nearby residents three days in advance;

2. The high-noise equipment that needs to be used due to special geological conditions shall not be on statutory holidays and weeks.

6. Work all day on Sunday and from Monday to Friday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 8 p.m. the next day;

3. From 12 o'clock to 14 o'clock and from 8 o'clock to 8 o'clock the next day, it is forbidden to carry out noise-generating decoration in the buildings with residential buildings that have been completed and delivered;

4. Emergency repair and rescue operations are not subject to the above restrictions.

Article 63: The following terms in this Law have the following meanings:

1) "Noise emission" refers to the radiation of noise from a noise source to the surrounding living environment.

2) "Noise-sensitive buildings" refer to buildings that need to be kept quiet, such as hospitals, schools, institutions, scientific research institutes, and residences.

3) "Areas with a concentration of noise-sensitive buildings" refer to medical areas, cultural, educational and scientific research areas, and areas dominated by institutions or residential buildings.

4) "Night" means the period between 22 p.m. and 6 a.m.

e) "Motor Vehicles" means automobiles and motorcycles.

The time limit for urban construction noise is between 22 p.m. and 6 a.m.

In addition, it is forbidden to carry out noise-generating renovation and other disturbing work in residential buildings that have been completed and put into use on statutory holidays, all day on holidays, and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays. If the operation is carried out during other periods, noise control measures shall be taken to reduce the disturbance to the surrounding residents.

Article 29 Within the urban area of the city, the use of machinery and equipment in the construction process may produce environmental noise pollution, the construction unit must be 15 days before the start of the project to the local people's ** ecological and environmental department at or above the county level where the project is located to declare the project name, construction site and period, possible environmental noise value and environmental noise pollution prevention and control measures taken.

Article 30 In areas where noise-sensitive buildings are concentrated in urban areas, it is forbidden to carry out construction operations that produce environmental noise pollution at night, except for emergency repairs, emergency operations, and continuous operations that must be carried out due to production process requirements or special needs.

If it is necessary to operate continuously due to special needs, it must be certified by the people at or above the county level or its relevant competent departments.

For night operations provided for in the preceding paragraph, nearby residents must be announced.
