Xiao Chi is a poem of the Song Dynasty.
"Xiao Chi" is a seven-character quatrain composed by the Song Dynasty poet Yang Wanli. In this poem, the author uses rich and novel imagination and anthropomorphic techniques to delicately describe the characteristics and changes of the natural scenery around Koike. The first sentence says that the small pond is connected by living water.
The second sentence writes that there is a touch of green shade on the small pond. The third sentence writes that the small lotus water is accompanied by the small pool. The concluding sentence writes that the dragonfly is affectionate, and flies to be accompanied by the little lotus.
It shows the poet's love for natural scenes.

Yang Wanli (1127-1206), Han nationality, the word Tingxiu, the number Chengzhai. A native of Jishui, Jizhou (now Jishui County, Jiangxi Province). An outstanding poet of the Song Dynasty.
In the twenty-fourth year of Shaoxing (1154), he was a jinshi. He was awarded the secretary of Ganzhou, and later transferred to Lingling County, Yongzhou, and saw Zhang Jun, who lived in Yongzhou, and was encouraged and taught by him. After Xiaozong ascended the throne, Zhang Jun entered the prime minister and recommended Wan Li as a professor in Lin'an Mansion.
Before he could take office, he was bereaved by his father, and after completing his service, he changed to Fengxin County. In the sixth year of the Gandao (1170), he served as Dr. Guozi, began to be a Beijing official, and soon moved to Taichang Cheng, and became a young eunuch. In the first year of Chunxi (1174), he went out of Zhangzhou and changed to Changzhou.
In six years, he promoted Changping tea and salt in Guangdong, suppressed the Shen Shi rebel army, and was promoted to Guangdong Tidian Prison. Soon, he was mourned by his mother and went to office, and he was called back to be a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and he was promoted to Langzhong. In May of the twelfth year (1185), he wrote a letter to the edict of **, discussing ten matters of current affairs, exhorting filial piety to put aside the urgent affairs, and to specialize in the strategy of preparing for the enemy, and resolutely opposing the misguided suggestions put forward by some people to abandon the two Huai and surrender the Yangtze River, and advocated the selection of talents and active preparation for war.
The following year, he was appointed Inspector of the Privy Council and Chamberlain to the Prince. In the fourteenth year (1187), he moved to the secretary and the young eunuch. Gaozong collapsed, and Wanli fought for Zhang Jun to enjoy the temple rituals, accusing Hong Mai of "pointing to the deer as a horse", which annoyed Xiaozong and went out of Yunzhou (now Gao'an, Jiangxi).
Guangzong ascended the throne and was summoned as the secretary and supervisor. In the first year of Shaoxi (1190), he was the envoy of Jin Guohe Zhengdan and the reviewer of the Records Academy. In the end, because Xiaozong was dissatisfied with him, he became the deputy envoy of Jiangdong Transport.
The imperial court wanted to make iron money in the counties south of the Yangtze River, but Wanli thought it was inconvenient for the people, refused to obey the edict, resented the prime minister's intentions, and changed his knowledge of Ganzhou. Seeing that his ambitions could not be realized, Wan Li did not go to his post, and returned from begging for the ancestral hall official (no actual official position, only receiving the ancestral hall, which is equivalent to retirement), and never went out again, and summoned him to Beijing several times, but he resigned. In the second year of the opening of the reign (1206), he died of grief because he hated Han Yanxuan for taking power and misleading the country.
