3. Move the oil container to the bottom of the oil filter, use the oil filter element wrench to loosen the filter element, and unscrew it by hand. If the filter is still hot, remember to wear gloves. Don't worry about the filter being tightened and damaging it during removal.

As long as you don't damage the connection screws on which the filter is installed and the parts around the filter, you'll be fine. After all, we no longer use the removed filters;

4. Refer to the user's manual to select the appropriate oil filter element;

5. Use new oil to apply the interface gasket of the new filter element. If the filter is installed vertically, you can pour some fresh oil into the filter, which will reduce dry grinding the next time the engine starts. Screw the filter element in by hand, and tighten the filter element according to the indicated method (usually after tightening the filter element by hand and then screwing it in 3 or 4 turns);

6. Next, put the new engine oil into the oil pan, refer to the introduction of the user's manual. A funnel can be used to prevent oil from being poured on the outside of the engine. Check the lower part of the engine for leaks.

If there are no leaks, put down the vehicle, check the dipstick, and start the engine. The indicator light on the meter should turn off immediately after starting. Finally, turn off the engine and repeat the oil level.

Dispose of used oil and filters according to local regulations.
