The production method of attached stone bonsai is as follows:

1) Stone selection. In addition to selecting hard stones with natural cavities or natural stone cracks, soft stones with many holes and good water absorption performance are also selected, such as sand stones, reed pipe stones, pumice stones, jellyfish stones, etc. It is best to choose a soft stone with a hard surface and loose inside, and the surface texture should be ever-changing.

2) Choose a tree. Trees should be selected with old posture, small leaves, and short branches, and their habits should be suitable for growing on stones, with many fibrous roots, drought resistance, pruning resistance, and easy shaping. Commonly used are mill elm, June snow, pine and cypress, water wax, banyan and so on.
