Ecclesiastes is Solomon.
In his later years, he summarized all the things he had experienced in his life in the book of Ecclesiastes, in order to tell future generations that in life, all the hard work will eventually return to vanity. Tell the world that it is the duty of all men to fear God and to keep his commandments.
For God will judge all that man does, even whatever is hidden, whether good or evil. The book of Proverbs was also written by Solomon. We know that Solomon's wisdom was extraordinary because his wisdom came from God.
The purpose of writing the book of Proverbs is to make men know wisdom and instruction, to discern and understand the words of understanding, to make men receive instruction in wisdom, righteousness, fairness, and uprightness, to make fools wise, to give young men knowledge and strategy, to make wise men hear, to increase their knowledge, to make wise men wise, to understand proverbs and parables, to understand the words and riddles of wise men. —Proverbs 1:2-6
