Raoyang County is named after Chang'an Jun Fengrao, located in the north of Hengshui City, 220 kilometers away from the capital Beijing in the north, 130 kilometers away from the provincial capital Shijiazhuang in the southwest, and 60 kilometers away from Hengshui City in the south. It is bordered by Suning County of Cangzhou City and Lixian County of Baoding City in the north, Anping County in the west, Wuqiang County and Xian County of Cangzhou City in the east, and Shenzhou City in the south.

The history of the establishment of Raoyang County
During the Warring States Period, Raoyang belonged to the Zhao State. During the Qin Dynasty, Raoyang belonged to Julu County. During the Gaozu period of the Western Han Dynasty, Raoyang was founded as a county, and there was Rao River in the south of the county, so it was named Raoyang.
It has successively belonged to Hejian County, Youzhou Zhuo County, and Boling County. During the period of Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Raoyang belonged to the Anping Kingdom. In the first year of Yanxi (158), Anping was abolished, and Raoyang was changed to Boling County.
During the Northern Wei Dynasty, Raoyang belonged to Boling County, Dingzhou. Northern Qi because of it. In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Raoyang County belonged to Boling County, the governor of Youzhou.
