The following describes how to connect to the client
After you register the vCenter Server, you can log in to the vSphere Web Client server through a browser to manage the vSphere infrastructure.
Access via browser.
Enter the IP address of the vSphere Web Client server, select the vCenter Server you want to access from the server list, enter the corresponding authentication information, and log in to manage it.
When you log in, the vCenter Management application view is displayed by default. The left side of the view shows a list of vSphere infrastructures, and when you select the ESXi hosts in the list, you can see five cards in the "Content Area" of the view, including Summary, Monitoring, and Virtual Machines.
Networking, storage.
These tabs allow you to learn about the hardware configuration, network configuration, attached storage, and virtual machines running on the ESXi host.

If your company's server is located on the Internet, you can ping ESXI at home and you can connect to this ESXI. But if your company's server is in a local area network, you can't use the client to connect to ESXI at home
-
There are two options: 1. Use a VPN to dial in to the company's intranet.
Second, the route is ported, and the ports of ESX5 are 443 and 902

Install Shenzhuo Intranet Penetration, the external network can control the desktop, transfer files, and also access its access.

You can use peanut shells for dynamic domain name resolution.
-
It's the same as using the remote desktop connection tool, but the vcenter tool is powerful.

4Enter the "Storage" interface, select the destination storage location of the virtual machine file, if there are multiple locations, you can choose freely, and then click the "Next" button.
5. Enter the "Virtual Machine Version" interface, select the virtual machine version, generally select the highest version, if you have special needs or compatibility, you can choose other versions, and then click the "Next" button.
6. Enter the "Guest Operating System" interface, select "Guest Operating System" and "Version", here I created an XP system, and then click the "Next" button.
7. Enter the "CPU" interface, select the number of virtual sockets and the number of cores of each virtual socket, generally by default, if the host is strong enough and wants to make the virtual machine run faster, you can configure it according to the actual situation, and then click the "Next" button.
8. Enter the "Memory" interface, select the memory of the virtual machine, the recommended is 2 to the nth power, and then click the "Next" button.
Enter the "Network" interface, which is generally default, and then click the "Next" button.
Enter the "SCSI Controller" by default, and then click the "Next" button.
Enter the "Create Disk" interface, set the disk capacity and disk provisioning, and select the "Thin Provision" option, because this option is to dynamically increase the disk space, unlike post-provisioning, which fixes the disk space size when the disk is created, and then click the "Next" button.
Enter the "Advanced Options" interface, directly default it, and then click the "Next" button.
Go to the "Soon" page, check the settings of the new virtual machine, and then click the "Finish" button to complete the configuration of creating the virtual machine.
In the main window of vSphere Client, select the blank VM you just created on the right server, right-click, and click Power (O)."Turn on the power (p)."。
Click the "Start Virtual Machine Console" icon on the toolbar to launch the console.
In the Virtual Machine Console window, click on the cd*** drive icon, and then tap on the ISO image on the local disk. Of course, on the data store, you can also select "Connect to the ISO image on the data store."
In the pop-up window, select the ISO file, here I have installed XP, so select the WindowsXP image file.
Then press the "enter" key and wait for the installation interface to come out, and install it, and then it's the same as installing the system, so I won't say much here.

ESXi can only be installed on local disks.
The 4 hard disks on the server should be set up with a RAID array, and eventually merged into one or more logical drives, and the system should still be installed into the local logical drives.
If configured, the remote can see other network drives, but the system does not support installation into network drives.
There are many methods: 1. Set the IP address of a network card on the machine that can access the external network, and connect the other machines to this machine through the switch, these computers should also set the IP, and set the gateway IP and domain name resolution IP to the IP address of the newly installed network card. 2 By installing ** software. >>>More
