What should I do if I forget the password of the XP system?
When someone asks, they collect it.
1.If the administrator user does not have a password, when you boot the computer, press Ctrl+Alt+(twice) delete when you want to select a user, fill in the administrator in the user name, and the password is blank to enter, and you can also perform various operations on the passwords of other users. If you have a password, you have to use software.
2.Open the case - disconnect the contact point of the power strip - then close - the machine will restart - the machine will ask you for a new password - just re-enter the new password. (?Didn't try).
3.Find the SAM file and delete it, you can also enter it with an empty password.
4.Press F8 to enter the system options menu after booting, select safe mode to enter, create a new user in the control panel in safe mode, restart the computer, log in with the user you just created, and then delete the user who set the password in the control panel.
Refer to the network above.

Tip 1: As you know, the password of Windows XP is stored in the SAM file under the Winnt System32 Config where the system is located, and the SAM file is the password database file. When we log in to the system, the system will automatically check with the SAM in the config, if we find that the password and username are all consistent with the encrypted data in the SAM file, you will log in smoothly; If there is an error, you cannot log in.
That being the case, our first method came up: delete the SAM file to recover the password.
If you don't have to worry about any of the system cards and have two operating systems, you can boot your computer with another operating system that can access NTFS, or you can use another tool to access NTFS even if you don't have both systems installed. Then delete the SAM file in the C: Winnt System32 config directory and restart.
At this point, the administrator does not have a password. Of course, it is also a good idea to remove the hard drive and replace it with another machine to delete SAM files.
Tip: Windows NT 2000 XP uses the security manager (SAM) mechanism for the security management of user accounts, and the management of the security manager pair is carried out through the security identity, which is created at the same time when the security identity is created, and once deleted, the security identity is also deleted at the same time. Security identities are unique, and even if they are the same username, they are completely different each time they are created.
As a result, once a piece is deleted, its security identity no longer exists, and even if it is rebuilt with the same username, it will be given a different security identity and will not retain the original permissions.
The Security Manager is the %systemroot% system32 config sam file. The SAM file is a Windows NT 2000 XP user account database, and all user logins and passwords are stored in this file.
Tip 2: Use Off1ine NT Password & Registry Editor. With this software, you can make a Linux boot disk, which can access the NTFS file system, so it can support Windows 2000 XP well.
Using one of the floppy disks, ntpasswd, a tool running on linux, will solve the problem. And it is possible to read the registry and rewrite the password. The method to use is simple, just follow the prompts after its launch step by step.
Here, it's recommended that you use Express Mode, which lists users for you to choose which user's password to change.

The current ghost installation disc and USB flash drive boot disk both come with software functions to modify the system password, and if you want to crack (change) the boot password of the system, you can basically only rely on these two things.
So either go outside and buy a ghost version of the installation disc (a few dollars),Or borrow someone else's computer to make a U disk boot disk with a U disk,The PE system in them comes with a software function to modify the system boot password,Just adjust them to the first boot item,So you can change the boot password yourself。
For novices, the difficulty is how to adjust the optical drive or USB flash drive to the first boot item in the motherboard BIOS).
If you really don't know how to operate, and you are afraid of damaging the system, then take the machine to the outside to repair the computer, and let the family help you get it, the fee is 10-20 yuan, and they will do it within 30 seconds.
Of course, there's a one-size-fits-all solution in the end, and that's to reinstall the system, as long as you can.
Note: The so-called methods on the Internet, such as typing a command in the command prompt, pressing f8 to change the password or creating a new account, will not work at all.
If there is a password for booting, then after you enter the security mode, you still need to enter the boot password before entering the desktop, and the system without this password security mode cannot be entered, so how to change the password? Many of the so-called cracking methods on the Internet are based on false rumors, and they are of no practical use at all.
As for the method of buckling the motherboard battery, it is completely ineffective, because the boot password is saved in the hard disk, the motherboard battery is just to restore the motherboard BIOS to the factory state, which has nothing to do with the hard disk!
I hope this isn't a water sticker).
