The "Network Unavailable" error message displayed by the synchronization software is usually caused by the following reasons:

1. Confirm that the Windows Time service has been started.

If the Windows Time service on your PC is not enabled, you cannot synchronize the time from the Internet. Make sure this service is started.

Confirmation method: Take Windows 7 system as an example, click on the desktop computer > management > services and applications > services, find Windows Time, right-click and select Properties, confirm that the Startup Type is Automatic, and the service status is Started, as shown in the following figure:

2. Confirm that the Internet time server is set correctly.

The computer synchronizes the time from the Internet, it is synchronized from the time server on the network, if the time server set on the computer is incorrect, the time will not be synchronized.

Take Windows 7 as an example, please click the display time in the lower right corner of the desktop of the computer, click Change date and time settings > Internet time > to change the settings, and confirm that the server settings are correct. As shown below:

In general, the default one can be used, but if the synchronization cannot be successful, you can try to change to another time server, such as the national time service center server, and then resynchronize the time.

3. Exclude the router's filter settings.

The router is equipped with a network control system or firewall function, which blocks the relevant ports of the Internet time server, which will cause the computer to fail to synchronize time from the Internet.

Please check the rules related to the Internet access control or firewall function in the router management interface, and disable these filtering functions if they are not necessary.

4. Broadband line problems.

The front-end network service provider blocked port 123 (the port used by the network time protocol NTP), so that the computer could not get the current time.

Detection method: connect the computer directly to the broadband line at the front end of the router, turn off the firewall on the computer, check whether the computer can get the current time, if the computer cannot get it, it means that the front-end network service provider has blocked the relevant port.
