Meaning: "Rise in the forest", referring to Lu Zhishen who walked on the road of falling grass in order to rescue Lin Chong; "Rich in the mountains" refers to Lu Zhishen's falling grass in Erlong Mountain; "Prospering when encountering water" refers to Shuibo Liangshan; "Stop when encountering the river", the river should refer to the Qiantang River, and finally Lu Zhishen passed away in Zhejiang.

Rise in the forest, get rich in the mountains, prosper in the water, and stop in the river. This is what Lu Zhishen left to him before his master Elder Zhizhen went to Daxiangguo Temple in Tokyo, and it is these four verses that hint at Lu Zhishen's life.

Prosperous in the water: Later, because the imperial court wanted to exterminate the three mountains including Erlong Mountain, the three mountains and Liangshan united against the official army of the imperial court, and then the three mountains were all returned to Liangshan, and Lu Zhishen also joined Liangshan. Lu Zhishen repeatedly made meritorious contributions in Liangshanbo, fought bravely, and when Liangshan ranked down, Lu Zhishen ranked thirteenth, the head of the infantry army.

Later, the heroes of Liangshan were recruited by the imperial court and Lu Zhishen also went into battle to kill the enemy, and also captured Fang La alive and made great contributions. After joining Liangshan, Lu Zhishen began to truly realize his own value, doing the right thing for heaven, killing the rich and helping the poor, punishing the evil and promoting the good.
