5 Inspection of the voltage regulator:
Adjust the output voltage of the adjustable power supply to 12V, connect its positive and negative poles with the positive and negative posts of the regulator respectively, for the external iron regulator, connect a small bulb between its positive and magnetic field posts, the bulb should be on, when the voltage gradually rises from 12V to 14V, the bulb should be extinguished, otherwise the regulator is damaged.
For the internal tie iron regulator, the bulb should be connected between its magnetic field column and the negative, and the above phenomenon should also occur.
6 Measure the resistance between the generator magnetic field post and the iron (inner iron generator) or between the two magnetic field posts, which should be 3 5 Otherwise, the generator magnetic field circuit is faulty;
7. Disassemble and inspect the generator, check whether the stator winding and rectifier of the generator are damaged;
8. After confirming and eliminating the fault, install the ** motor;
9 Start the engine again, observe that the charging indicator should work normally, and the generator output voltage should be normal.

There is a universal meter, use the universal meter to measure the positive and negative electrodes behind the generator, and the negative electrode is directly placed on the place where the iron is built! Or measure the battery! If you don't have a universal watch, use a screwdriver, start the engine, and put the screwdriver on the generator's pulley!
If you see it, you won't suck it! If you can suck, you will generate electricity, and if you can't suck, you will not generate electricity! The best thing to do is to go to the repair shop and check it out!

It could be an electrical or electronic fault. What happened was unexpected and without warning. Circuit faults include:
Fuse blow, high-voltage coil break, low-voltage circuit break, ignition wire off, distributor leakage, spark plug damage. Electronic failure mainly refers to the failure of the computer control board. Then there is the oil circuit failure.
The flameout caused by the failure of the oil circuit often causes the engine to be weak and the oil pedal to step on the cotton. The possible parts of oil circuit failure are: oil pump failure, oil circuit blockage, oil filter blockage, carburetor failure, nonozzle damage, etc.
Sometimes the fuel tank is empty and the owner doesn't know it. A few liters of gasoline will solve all problems. This situation could be a problem with the battery itself.
This can happen if the substrate inside the battery is disconnected. Let's first test whether the generator is generating electricity normally. If the battery still can't store power, it means that the battery is a problem!
The reasons why the battery cannot be charged are: the electrolyte in the battery is dry, the plates are broken, the plates are short-circuited, etc. The main and most common cause is sulfation of the plates, which hinders the normal flow of electrons, resulting in a decrease in battery capacity and gradual aging of the battery.
Regularly check the holes in the battery cover for ventilation. If the hole is clogged and the resulting gas cannot be discharged, the electrolyte expansion can burst the battery case, reducing battery life. Check the level of the electrolyte regularly, and add the electrolyte in time when the level drops.
If the vehicle has been idle for a long time, it should be started every 25 days and driven at a moderate speed for about 20 minutes. Otherwise, the car will be left for too long and it will be difficult to start. In the series ammeter power supply circuit, when the engine starts, observe the charging ammeter pointer, there is no charging indication, increase the engine speed, and the ammeter pointer still has no indication.
Turn on the headlights and point the ammeter pointer towards the negative pole. In the parallel voltmeter power supply circuit, after starting the engine, observe the charging voltmeter pointer, there is no charging indication, and the charging indicator light is not extinguished. Increase the engine speed, but the voltmeter pointer still does not show an indication of the voltage increase.
Turn on the headlights and the voltmeter indicates significantly lower than 24V (24V power circuit). In the series ammeter circuit, check whether there is generator excitation voltage on the power side and load side of the voltage regulator, and check the tightness of the generator drive belt and the generator armature voltage. In a parallel voltmeter circuit, when the generator is not charging, check the indicator light circuit, unplug the generator indicator and the generator circuit.
If the light goes out, it means that the circuit is not faulty. Then, remove the generator stator windings and check for damage to the diodes, including the excitation diode and regulator.

Reason for not charging: generator "magnetic field" binding post lap iron; Wire wiring error; Short circuit inside the battery; Fault diagnosis: 1. Check whether there is any wiring error in the wire.
Start the engine, run at medium speed, remove the conductor of the regulator post, if the ammeter still indicates charging, it means that the generator magnetic field terminal is iron, and its insulation should be ensured; If the ammeter indicates discharge, check and replace the regulator. For the charging system equipped with a contact voltage regulator, when the engine is running at medium speed, reduce the spring elasticity of the regulator, if the charging current is reduced, it means that the original spring tension is too large, and it should be debugged; If the charging current is still large, the regulator should be removed and the relevant parts should be checked. After the above inspection, all parts are normal, and the battery should be checked for internal short circuit faults.
