At the end of August, the daytime temperature was still very high, about 35 degrees and above, but the nights were so cold that you almost had to wear a coat. 30 days after the orchid is planted, there are no new roots, and the root pruning work before potting is similar to that in spring, but the pruning is not as much as in spring.

It was not until late October that I repotted and found that the new roots were about 3 cm long, and the flower buds were normal (they were coming down the mountain with bud buds), so I could be regarded as serving the pot.

At this time, it should actually be considered winter, but the temperature is not bad on a sunny day. It's the same as the downhill orchid, but in late autumn, considering that it is not the growing season, I simply prune the roots when I prune them, and I can keep the old roots and use the residual heat during the potting period.

After planting, it was still the same for a month, and there were no new roots after two months of potting, but the old seedlings showed no signs of weeding at all. It wasn't until three months later, in February, that new roots appeared. In fact, it has already been potted, but the roots and shoots have not yet germinated in the growing season.

Summary: Therefore, the length of time that orchids serve pots has a lot to do with the season. In spring, the potting is fast, but there will be more weeding in the past. In autumn, potting is slow, but the weeding is not obvious, and once potted, the root shoots will grow quickly.

How to tell if an orchid has been potted to survive.

Orchids that are dying can be revived as long as their roots are not heavily decayed.
