In essence, the Dharma preached by Shakyamuni during his lifetime can be regarded as primitive Buddhism, because the first time there was a division of schools was also in the second assembly of the Buddha in the hundred years after his extinction, and the division between Theravada and Mass appeared. Later, Theravada spread south to Southeast Asia, forming what we now call Hinayana relatively speaking, and they never admit that they are Hinayana and the Buddha's Buddhism when he was alive is relatively less Hindu elements, after Buddhism developed in India with the times, it absorbed a large number of ancient Brahmanism (later evolved into Hinduism) ideas, thus forming the Mahayana doctrine, in fact, Mahayana is not the result of traditional Chinese culture in the first place, and then Mahayana is the result of absorbing a large number of Hindu elements.

Under the Mahayana doctrine of Buddhism, there has always been a theory of attaching equal importance to the scriptures, the law, and the theory of attaching equal importance to the three Tibetans, so the earliest masters who preached the Mahayana doctrine such as Nagarjuna, Ma Ming, etc., were Brahmanical theorists in their early years, so they brought a large number of philosophical ideas into Buddhism, some of these doctrines were preached on the theory, and some were attached to the Buddha to appear in the scriptures, although there was a suspicion of Li Dai Taozhuang, but in terms of philosophical theory, its value was not inferior to the ancient scriptures, so it was accepted by the Mahayana schools, and in the Mahayana era, the Buddha was no longer a single Buddha, Then the content of what the Buddha said is not only Shakyamuni, but from a religious point of view, it is all true that the Buddha said.

As for the Mahayana denial of the Hinayana laws as completely non-existent, in the Vinaya, a large number of the basic laws, such as the four divisions, should belong to the Hinayana in strict theory, and the difference between the big and the small is a philosophical difference, not a Vinaya.

This is primitive Buddhism, and later generations of eminent monks and great masters classified it as Hinayana Buddhism, but Southeast Asia did not recognize such a statement, and named it "Theravada Buddhism", and regarded Mahayana Buddhism as "Popular Buddhism".

There are no big or small things. It's all because a cloth bag, a sack of sacks, and a straw bag are not as good as a bag. The discriminating attachment of future generations is not only divided into Mahayana and Mahayana, but also into pure Zen Vinaya Tantra and other sects.

Even the sects are divided into factions. In the end, no one was convinced, and they slandered each other. Won't it be extinguished in the end?

Hinayana does not recognize any other Buddha, only Shakyamuni Buddha.

The Mahayana patriarchs did not deny some of the Hinayana precepts, and the Hinayana Ahama Sutras were opened in all Buddhist colleges. If the Hinayana precepts are denied, then wouldn't the five precepts and ten virtues of the human heavenly vehicle be even more denied? There is no fixed law, and it is set up by people.

When the Buddha became a Buddha, he spoke about Mahayana Buddhism and saw that no one could understand it. So let's talk about Hinayana first, starting with Aham. That is, Hinayana . Then he entered the advanced cultivation method. Fang, Prajna, Nirvana, etc. That's what Buddhism's Five Seasons Judgment teaches.

The precepts of Buddhism are indeed adapted to our Chinese practice habits and to the environment. The precepts of Buddhism are not dead, but alive and vibrant. This is a very deep truth!

After the Buddha's nirvana, the assembly of the sutras was very serious. No one dared to add a word, and no one dared to reduce a word. Each assembly is supervised by the emperor and the king, and hundreds of monks and monks with certificates of cultivation are jointly proofread and reviewed, and there is one doubt, none of them can pass, or be included in the scriptures!

So there is no problem with the Tripitaka that we learned first!
