My hometown, Wuxi, is known as the "land of fish and rice" and is a beautiful place.
Wuxi not only has good mountains and good waters, but also has many celebrities.
I turned on the computer and looked for it, hey, there are really a lot of celebrities in Wuxi: Qin Bo, Gu Kaizhi, Hua Yufang, Qian Mu, Xu Beihong, Xu Xiake, Qian Zhongshu, Hua Yanjun, ......All of them are household names, and I know some of their stories. But what I admire the most is Xu Beihong.
Xu Beihong is a native of Yixing and a painter who fights for the country. When Xu Beihong was young, he went to France to study painting, and his teacher valued him as a hard-working Chinese student. However, some foreigners ridiculed him, saying that Chinese will never become talented.
These words angered Xu Beihong, and he made up his mind to study painting harder, and he wanted to prove to those foreigners that the Chinese could be better than them! Hard work pays off. Xu Beihong's oil paintings shocked the entire art world.
He proved to the world that we Chinese cannot be stigmatized, and also allowed China to gain a firm foothold in the world.
What a precious spirit of hard work and hard work for the country!
Think about us, we are constantly arguing about a little thing, and it doesn't look like a big thing at all.
We must study hard since we were young, learn things well and thoroughly, and win glory for the country like Xu Beihong when we grow up in the future, and live up to the expectations of our parents and teachers. Be a useful person to society.
