2 Toe-in: Toe-in of the front wheels is measured from the front of the vehicle at the same height of the two axles, and the difference between the distance between the front end and the rear end of the centerline of the left and right tires is called the total toe-in.
Toe-in is used to eliminate tire slippage due to camber.
When the toe-in is too large, the outside of the tire will be worn by too much camber, and the tread wear form is feather-like. When stroked from the inside to the outside with the hand, the outer edge of the tread has a sharp piercing feeling.
When the negative toe-in is too large, the inside of the tire will have a wear pattern formed by too much negative camber, and the tread wear form is feathered. When stroked from the outside to the inside with the hand, the outer edge of the tread has a sharp piercing feeling.
Adjustment method of front wheel toe: adjust the adjustable tie rod, loosen the ball joint pin bolts on the left and right sides before adjustment, and clamp the steering wheel in the middle position. Then adjust it at the same time according to the information provided by the computer.
If the original steering wheel is in the center position, adjusting the toe-in steering wheel at the same time may not change. Until it is adjusted to the standard value, then the road test is carried out to see if there is any change, and if there is a change, it should be corrected.

There's no need to do a four-wheel alignment, I'll tell you a way to solve it yourself.
Take a tape measure and measure the scale in front of the front tire and the scale behind the front tire, if it's big in front, your tire must be very worn on the outside, and if it's big in the back, it's big on the inside. At some point, you can adjust the direction of the puller on both sides of the machine, and adjust it to 2 mm larger in front of it. It's as simple as that.

Front or back? If it is the front or the front wheel base is wrong, if it is the front and the back is the axle is wrong, it is recommended to do four-wheel alignment.

Automobile toe-in adjustment method: 1. The car deviates to the right, so the toe-in rod of the left front wheel should be slightly shortened. Start the car, the steering wheel is full of wheels to the right, so that the left wheel deviates outward, squatting down at this time, you can see the front beam rod of the left wheel exposed, take the wrench, loosen it first (and tighten the screw), turn the front beam rod counterclockwise, and the plate handle rotates 90 degrees, so that the left front beam rod becomes slightly shorter; 2. In the same way, adjust the right front wheel, turn the front tow rod clockwise, and rotate the wrench 90 degrees to make the front tow rod of the right front wheel slightly longer.
In this way, the toe value remains the same and the angle of wheel deflection is adjusted; 3. Test the car on the road, test the deviation in a straight line, if it is not accurate, and then fine-tune, at this time, the angle of rotation of the wrench should be fine-tuned about 45 degrees until it is satisfied; 4. After the deviation is corrected, if you feel that the steering wheel is a little heavy, you can measure the toe angle, the toe value of the Elysee is 0-2 mm, you can measure it with a tape measure, and I personally feel that the toe is kept between 0-1 mm, and the steering wheel is the lightest. Measuring the toe value is a delicate job, and you can check out the related posts. Or you can go to the 4S store and ask to measure the toe-in value, provided that the deviation is corrected, and the size of the toe-in value can be adjusted appropriately.

Audi toe-in debugging method:
1. The toe value is generally checked on the special front wheel aligner. If the device is not available, simple tools can be used for testing;
2. Method, check the front wheel toe of the car, the car must be placed on a horizontal and hard road surface, so that the front wheel is in a straight position, and roll forward more than 2m, the front toe ruler is placed between the two front wheels (placed at the height of the axle of the front axle), the chain at both ends of the front beam ruler just touches the ground, move the ruler, and align the "0" point with the pointer. Then turn the two front wheels (or push the car forward) so that the toe ruler turns behind with the wheels to reach the height of the front, where the end of the chain is just touching the ground. The number shown on the toe-in ruler is the toe-in value (the pointer pointing to "+" is toe-in, and pointing to "-" is negative toe-in).
3. When there is no front beam ruler, you can also use a tape measure, rope, etc. to measure. If you use a tape measure to measure, you can erect the front wheel so that the front wheel has just left the ground (the two wheels are of the same height) and can turn the wheel. Mark the toe-in measurement place (tread center line) with a scribing needle, mark the height of the two sides from the ground to the horizontal height of the center of the front wheel, (in order to reduce the measurement error, the mark should be done accurately), measure the distance between the marks, and then turn the wheel half a circle, the mark turns to the back (the height from the ground is the same as the front), and then measure the distance, and subtract the value of the front with the number of the rear is the toe;
4. If the toe does not meet the regulations, the length of the tie rod can be changed to adjust. Loosen the lock nut of the tie rod, rotate the left and right tie rods, adjust the length of the left and right tie rods, and then adjust the required toe value. If the toe value is too large, the tie rod must be shortened; Otherwise, the tie rod is lengthened until it meets the requirements, and the lock nut is tightened after adjustment.

Degree. This is a formula "big head-small head" divided by the length, multiplied by equal to the taper, this taper is the angle at which the small pallet is to be moved, and the degree is a constant.
In daily life, it is found that many car owners do not adjust the seats when they get into the car, or the seats and sitting postures are wrong. In this case, it is easy to cause injury to the owner in the event of an accident. To that end, today I would like to introduce to you how to adjust the car seat correctly. >>>More
