How to apply for membership of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society

I graduated from secondary school, continued to junior college, and graduated with a bachelor's degree. Currently: Mechanical Engineer. I have been engaged in mechanical design and manufacturing for 25 years, can I join the Chinese mechanical engineering membership?

1. Anyone who acknowledges the constitution of the Union, has the intention to join the Union, and meets one of the following conditions can apply to become a student member:

1. Students in the third year or above of mechanical engineering or related majors in ordinary colleges and universities;

2. Graduate students majoring in mechanical engineering or related majors in ordinary colleges and universities.

2. Any person who acknowledges the constitution of the Union, has the intention to join the Association, and meets one of the following conditions can apply to become a member:

1. Engineer, technician, lecturer and assistant researcher or above, or equivalent professional and technical qualifications;

2. Applicants who have obtained a master's degree or above;

3. Those who have made outstanding achievements in the field of mechanical engineering;

4. Managers of technology and industry sectors who are enthusiastic about supporting the work of the Association.

3. Anyone who acknowledges the constitution of the Union, has the intention to join the Association, has obtained the professional and technical qualifications of senior engineer, associate researcher, associate professor or above, or obtained a doctorate degree, and meets one of the following conditions, can apply to become a senior member:

1. Those who have made significant contributions in academia, engineering and technical sciences, or have extensive practical experience;

2. Those who have won national science and technology awards, provincial science and technology awards and science and technology awards of the Association;

3. Those who have published important ** or academic works at home and abroad;

4. Those who hold the position of director (or member) of the Society, branch or provincial, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government;

5. Those who have been engaged in the activities of the society for many years and have made important contributions to the society.

4. All mechanical technology workers residing in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province, as well as the mechanical science and technology workers residing outside the territory of the People's Republic of China, can apply to become members of the Union if they apply by themselves and meet the corresponding membership conditions stipulated in this constitution. It shall be reviewed and approved by the Organizational Working Committee of the Council, and the membership certificate and badge of the corresponding level shall be issued.

5. In accordance with the provisions of the cooperation agreement signed between the Union and foreign societies on the mutual gift of the membership of designated personnel, the membership certificates and badges of the corresponding levels will be issued to the above-mentioned designated personnel after the review and approval of the Organizational Working Committee of the Council.
