1.Basketball. Boris Stankovic is a former Yugoslav who has made outstanding contributions to world basketball.
He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Belgrade. After graduating, he worked as a meat inspector in Belleggrade for 10 years. During this time, his talent in basketball gradually became apparent.
Stankovic's basketball talent is manifested in three aspects: athlete, coach and leader. He first played for Red Star Club Belgrade, won the national championship in the 1946 and 1947 seasons, and then was selected for the national team. In six years, Stankovic represented the former Yugoslavia national team in 36 international competitions.
During this time, he also obtained a professional trainer certificate. Before leaving veterinary testing in 1966, he had already won the title of Coach of the Year in China four times. After 1966, Stankovic coached an Italian club team and helped it win the Italian domestic league title.
