The Hundred Family Names is a list of Chinese surnames compiled during the Song Dynasty of China (960-1279 AD). ThisThe Harmony List was intended to recognize and honor the most famous and respected surnames of the time, and was intended to serve as a reference for those interested in genealogy and the history of Chinese surnames.
The arrangement of the "100 family names" is based on the frequency of occurrence of each surname in the population. The last name that appears at the beginning of the list is the most common, while the last name that appears at the end of the list is less common. The list is divided into ten sections, each containing ten surnames.
The first section of the list contains the ten most common surnames, while the last section contains the ten least common surnames.
The "Hundred Family Names" list is not a definitive or complete list of Chinese surnames, and there are many other surnames that are not included in the list. However, it is considered an important historical document of Oki Tsai and is still widely cited today as a representative of the most famous and respected surname of the time.

"Hundred Family Names" was originally a Mongolian reading book compiled by a scholar in Qiantang (Hangzhou) in the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, and the common surnames were written into four-character rhymes, like a four-word poem, which was read and memorized, so it has been passed down to this day and has a profound influence. "Hundred Family Names" originally collected 411 surnames to 504 surnames, of which 444 were surnames and 60 were compound surnames.

Written by an emperor surnamed Zhao (I saw it in the history books, but I didn't remember it).

Since it was made up by the Song Dynasty, it is natural to put the surname of the contemporary emperor in the first place, so the first four characters are: "Zhao Qian, Sun Li"; In the Ming Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty compiled a book of "Emperor Ming Qianjia Surname", which of course put the surname of the Ming Dynasty emperor in the first place, so the beginning was: "Zhu Chengtianyun"; In the Qing Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty emperor personally approved and compiled a book of "Imperial Hundred Family Names", of course, the surname of the Qing Dynasty emperor should be put in the first place, but the Qing Dynasty emperor's surname is Aixin Jueluo, and this surname is put in the book, which is really a bit different, so he put the surname of Confucius Sage in the first place, so the first sentence of the opening is:
Confucius Que Party". It can be seen that the cultural rule of China's thousands of years of emperors has really reached the point of meticulousness.
