    Win7 system does not come with a timer shutdown software,This makes everyone a headache。 But you can set a scheduled shutdown under the win7 system.

    A few steps to set up a scheduled shutdown.

    1. [All Programs] -- Attachments], find [Task Scheduler] in the [System Tools] in the attachment and open it;

    2. Select [Create Basic Task] in the operation on the right, you can fill in the name you want to fill in the [Task Name], I fill in here"Timed shutdown";

    3. Select the task execution time, and you can choose to shut down the computer regularly every day"Every day";For a few days of the week that do not need to be turned off, you can choose to do so"Week";As for"per month"It is not recommended to choose because the time span is too large and the average person does not need this function. I chose to do this"Every day";

    4. Fill in the time box when the machine is scheduled to shut down;

    5. Select [Startup Program], enter: , the key is to find, this depends on the location of the personal installation system, which can be found from browsing.

    Then, enter "-s" or "-f -s" in the Add Arguments, -s: shutdown command, -f: force close the running application. Idea: Don't type double quotes.

    6. Click Done, and the main interface will appear;

    7. You can view the tasks you added in the scheduled task library, and you can also change and delete the selected tasks, and select the properties when you change.

    Click the Start button in the bottom left corner of the computer screen, select Select Accessories --- System Tools from All Programs, and click Open Task Scheduler.

    Click to open the task scheduler, select Create Basic Task in the rightmost operation box, then fill in the name column of the Create Basic Task dialog box, and then click Next.

    After writing the name and clicking Next, the task trigger dialog box will appear, and you can choose the start time of the scheduled shutdown according to your needs. For example, if you choose every day, that is, you should turn off the computer regularly every day; Select Weekly, i.e., the computer will be shut down on a certain day or several days of the week, and so on. Once you've chosen, click Next.

    Here you choose every day.

    A daily dialog will appear, where you can enter when you want to schedule the shutdown and how many days you want to schedule the shutdown. Note that the start time is the time set now, so you don't need to change it.

    Click Next after entering the time, and the startup program dialog box will appear, you need to browse to find it or directly enter the program C: Windows System32. Enter -s (i.e., shutdown command) in the box after Add Parameter

    After clicking Next, a summary dialog box will appear to complete the prompt, and you will be double-checking the name, trigger, action, etc.

    You can check the "When you click Done... When you click on it, the timed shutdown attribute will appear. Here you can change the name, location, user, and more. The scheduled shutdown program is basically set up here.

    If you want to change the scheduled shutdown time, you can delete the scheduled shutdown task and reset it according to your needs. The blue bar in the figure below is the scheduled shutdown task, if you want to delete it, right-click "Scheduled Shutdown" and select Delete.

    Set a specific time to shut down.

    Suppose we set the system to shut down at 11 p.m., press the "windows logo key + R", enter "at 23:00 shutdown -s" in the pop-up "Run" window, and press the enter key. A minute before the system shuts down, a reminder pops up.

    Note: The above command contains 3 spaces without quotation marks. Typing a command in the command window will have the same effect.

    When you use this command, the scheduling service must be running.

    Or use third-party software:

    1. Open the main interface of PC Manager and click "Toolbox" in the lower right corner.

    2. Select and open "Health Assistant" in other categories of the toolbox;

    3. Enter the time of scheduled shutdown every day, and you can choose "Remind me to shut down" or "Automatic shutdown" according to the situation;

    5. Then click "Not Enabled" below to set it to "Enabled".

    1. Press the "Win + R" keys on the keyboard to open the [Run] window.

    2. Type the command shutdown s t 3600 (there is a space between the parameters, 3600 units are seconds, which means that 3600 seconds is the automatic shutdown after 1 hour), and the time parameters can be set as needed.

    3. Click [OK], and then the system will pop up a prompt that the timer shutdown setting is successful, as shown in the figure below.

Click on "Control Panel" - "System & Security" - "Check WindOS Index" - "Adjust Visual Effects", and then check the box in front of "Show translucent selection rectangle". Just in case, to avoid the problem of not being able to use other similar software in the future, it is recommended that you do not select "Custom" in the dialog box that comes out after clicking "Adjust Visual Effects", but "Best Appearance", so that Win7 will also look better. >>>More
