Narcissus's Observation Diary:
On vacation, Dad went to the flower market to buy a few pots of daffodils. Ever since my dad bought the daffodils, I've been looking forward to them blooming every day.
One day, I saw a bud in the middle of the daffodil leaves, and I asked my father, "What is this bud?" "Dad said
This is a small bud, which means it's time to bloom. "I was overjoyed that the daffodils were finally about to bloom. But I was a little anxious, so I said to my father unhappily
I've been buying it for more than ten days, and I've just grown small buds, which is really urgent! Dad said, "Maybe it's not good."
After a few more days, the daffodils finally bloomed! Daffodils are small, with five or six white petals and a yellow core. In the middle of a cluster of turquoise leaves, the white daffodils resemble dancing fairies, no wonder people say that the daffodils are the Limbo fairies.
Then I smelled a scent, put my nose to the daffodil, inhaled, ah, a wisp of fragrance came to my nose, and I felt that my room was filled with a faint fragrance all day.

Saturday, 14 January 2006.
It's like a garlic head, and my mother says it's its bulb. It has three bulbs, one in the middle and two smaller, flattened ones on both sides. On the top of the large bulb there are six flattened, young yellow buds, millimeters thick, and two or three small buds protruding from the small bulbs on both sides.
Saturday, 21 January 2006.
It's been a week since Narcissus came to my house and it's already changed. The top yellow buds of the large bulb had turned green, and had grown more than a centimeter taller; The small buds on the left and right sides also turned green, growing 4-5 mm taller respectively. Underneath it grew some short little white roots, Tuesday, January 31, 2006.
My daffodils are growing taller again! The largest bud in the middle of the largest bulb had grown six long leaves, and from the middle of the leaf grew a "lentil" - it was blue-green, covered with a thin membrane, and there seemed to be a few lentil grains hidden in it, and my mother said that it was the flower bones of a daffodil! The leaves on this bud are already centimeters tall and centimeters wide, almost 1 millimeter thick.
Its leaves are long, flattened, and lighter in color the higher you go, and darker in color and greenish as you go downward.
This daffodil already has eleven buds, and each bud has almost 5-8 long leaves. There are more than one flower bones, there are already six flower bones on the eleven buds, and they are all flattened, and it will not be long before the daffodils will bloom!
The roots of daffodils are also my main concern, long, white, much like the roots of mung bean sprouts or soybean sprouts, Monday, February 6, 2006.
My daffodils are blooming!
The membranes of its flower bones were cracked, and four or five thin stems protruded from it, and a small white bud on its head. The buds are open, and the daffodils are finally blooming! The flowers of the daffodil are white, composed of six white petals, and there is a golden center inside, and the innermost is a cluster of small yellow stamens, each with a pointed head, and a red "dot" on it, which is beautiful!
The daffodils also exude a burst of fragrance!
Friday, February 10, 2006 Fine.
Today, I suddenly noticed that there was a flower stem bent in the middle of several flowers. Although the underside of the stem has been crushed, the upper part of it has turned around and stood up, and it is still blooming!

Saturday, May 1 is fine.
On Christmas Eve, my mother gave me a special gift – daffodils. I asked curiously, "Why are there no flowers?"
Why is it called a daffodil? The mother pointed to the two white "garlics" and said solemnly: "These are the bulbs of daffodils, keep them in clear water, and within a month, they will bloom beautiful daffodils."
I immediately became interested and planted them in glass jars with my own hands.
Sunday, May 8 was cloudy.
The narcissus has been raised for two weeks, and it has changed a lot: the "yellow buds" on the two large bulbs have turned pale green leaves, long, flattened, about a dozen centimeters, and some white "beards" have grown from their roots. What makes me even happier is:
The leaves of the narcissus I adopted grew taller and greener!
Wednesday, May 25 was cloudy.
Early this morning, my mom excitedly told me that the daffodils were blooming! I hurried to see what it was: a beautiful white floret, consisting of six white petals, with a golden center and a cluster of small yellow stamens at the innermost.
The daffodils also have a faint fragrance! But the one I adopted hadn't bloomed yet. Mom comforted me and said
You see, there is a "lentil" in the middle of the leaf, which is wrapped in a thin membrane, and that is the flower bone of the daffodil!
Wednesday, June 1 is fine.

DaffodilsI have a pot of daffodils that are about to bloom, and this pot of daffodils was given to me by my aunt two months ago.
After a month, the leaves of the daffodils stretched straight upward, and the emerald green leaves, long, in the emerald green leaves, hid the budding daffodils.
The root of the daffodil resembles the white beard of an old man, and on the top of the root is a bulb, from which long leaves stretch out, and the leaves are like a little girl's braids. It may be that the flower pot at home is too small, the leaves are too long, and the leaves are like autumn ears of rice and their heads are lowered, but it does not affect its growth at all.
The buds of the daffodils are like strings of gourds, like a pair of hands with chilblains, and like small ginseng fruits, which are very cute. According to my mother, daffodils bloom during the Spring Festival, and the fragrance at that time is even more refreshing.
I love daffodils and I would love to see them in their white and beautiful flowers!

I planted the daffodil in the water, and after a few days, I saw that it had grown not only fibrous roots like a white-bearded man, but also green flat leaves. I hope that daffodils will grow up soon and produce the most beautiful flowers in the world!

About observing the plant daffodil growth diary
Week x, October XX, 20xx
Daffodils are a beautiful plant. Its roots were like an old grandfather's beard, and on top of it was something like a ball, white and chubby, how much like a newborn baby.
As time passes, the leaves of the daffodils also draw out buds day by day, and the grown leaves are green, shiny, crisp, large and generous, drawing nutrients from the soil or water, which is the credit of the roots.
After a few days, a thin stamen was pulled out of the leaves, and it reminded people of the poem Jasper Tuojin Bowl, jasper refers to petals, and the golden bowl refers to stamens, and the poet writes about daffodils so beautifully! In full bloom'Some of the daffodils hold their heads high and are very proud; Some of them are shy and shy. Although the daffodils are not as gorgeous and rich as the peony flowers, they are all petite and exquisite, with different postures, and its taste is more fragrant and pleasant, which makes you feel relaxed and happy.
Daffodils bloom in winter, it dares to fight the remnants of winter, and when spring comes, it has no intention of competing for spring and quietly retreats.
How beautiful are daffodils! I love beautiful daffodils.
