I've had a similar problem. Individual computers will appear windows (is win7) after the update of the access program will appear attached to the picture error prompt, puzzled. Later, it was discovered that the references to the ActiveX controls in some of the Access programs were missing (e.g. DTPICKER), and when the missing ActiveX controls were reregistered, the program was restored to normal.

I think this is probably related to the fact that Access is not compatible with some of the newer versions of ActiveX controls after the update.

I've also tried reinstalling office that solves the problem as well.
