Introduction to Benjamin Franklin

Today I met an interesting person who wanted to learn from the spiritual benchmark of the Americans, Benjamin Franklin.

Dr. Franklin, as a symbol of the great spirit of the United States, is a role model for many Americans, and even in the Western world! From an ordinary family, relying on his own efforts, he grew into the founding father of the United States! His autobiography, eloquently, does not avoid shortcomings, does not pretentious, and uses simple words to record his great life, freedom, hard work, and lifelong learning.

The American Freemasonry was founded by him and several of his peers, and he also played an exemplary role in the construction of modern public affairs and the popularization of philanthropy.

Benjamin Franklin (January 17, 1706 – April 17, 1790) was a famous American politician and scientist, as well as a publisher, printer, journalist, writer, philanthropist, and outstanding diplomat and inventor. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1706, Franklin was involved in the drafting of important documents and served as U.S. ambassador to France, successfully gaining French support for American independence. He conducted many experiments on electricity, and invented the lightning rod, as well as bifocal glasses, fins, and so on.

Franklin was a member of Freemasonry, was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society, and was the first postmaster general of the United States. At 11 o'clock on the night of April 17, 1790, Franklin died suddenly, and his tombstone was inscribed with the words "Franklin the Printer."

Benjamin Franklin is one of the three founding fathers of the United States, and was named No. 6 among the 100 people who influenced the United States by the authoritative American journal The Atlantic.
