The Tomcat startup process can be simplified into 3 steps:

    1) Initialize the daemon, which is actually initializing the classloader, and 2) Load the relevant configuration files, initialize several major top-level interface instances, in short, server initialization.

    3) Start those top-level instances that have a life cycle, listen to user requests, and in short, start the server.

1.There are many ways to copy it from other versions on the Internet. But I don't think this approach is appropriate.

Reason: Each version is one, and copying some of them to the end of the version may cause some problems.

    3.Click.

4.Click on "archives" on the right.

    6.Click on "bin".

8.Decompress the tomcat folder, open cmd and cd to the bin directory of tomcat, and enter service install to install the service.

9.Then enter it in Run to open the service window.

10.You can see that Tomcat has been added to the Windows service.

11.Right-click on the service and change it to auto-start.

12.Now it's time to restart your computer and see if it starts up on its own. I have no problem locally.

13.What if you want to put two versions of the same version of tomcat on one server, and both set them to start automatically? If you can't follow the above methods, you will get a message that the installation service failed, because you can't have the same service name on the same computer.

14.The solution is also very simple, open tomcat bin and find it.

    rem set default service name

    set service_name=tomcat6

    set pr_displayname=apache tomcat 6

You can modify the service name and PR displayname here, which are the service name and the display name, respectively.

    Reinstall the service after modification.

In the same way, modify and install the second Tomcat service.

Eventually, both Tomcats were installed in the Windows service.
