Buddhism's soft heart, the two elements of the contemplation are equal, and they do not fall or sink, just like the reality of the Dharma is known in the heart. It also follows the nature of people and does not disobey, so it is called softness. Commentary on the Afterlife Volume II (Senior Year, 842a):
Those with a soft heart are said to practice in a broad and simple way, and become a non-double mind. For example, taking pictures with water, and achieving peace and quietness. ”

Hello landlord! In the ordinary place, all the hearts that are known and proven are delusional. Sincerity can only be reached by enlightening and clear minds.
After enlightenment, the bodhisattva, the conscious mind turns to the true heart, and all actions are based on the position of the true heart, and the practice of the six degrees of ten thousand actions, increasing layer by layer, only after reaching the first ground, can the pollution in the true heart be eliminated one by one. For example, in the "Lengyan Sutra": "I hope to eliminate subtle confusion", which is "after the monks have obtained the Dharma body".
The same scripture and clouds: "Reason is epiphany, multiplication and enlightenment; The matter is not stopped, because of the first reason. ”
As above, it is absolutely impossible for ordinary people to directly attack on the true heart, and can only "practice" at the level of delusional mind. This "practice," also called "similar practice," is not practice. Of course, the softness of the heart is also delusional:
Its life and death are easy to change, there are omissions and some are for it, and they know the reason; Wait a minute. However, this "softness of mind" is not only cultivable and verifiable for ordinary people, but also extremely important
First: "Do not do all evil, do all good, and purify one's mind", this is the teaching of the Buddhas. In this way, one can accumulate good roots for the purpose corresponding to the Dharma.
If you are a person who has sinned deeply, no matter how wise and intelligent you are, you will never be able to correspond to the Dharma. If you are a soft-hearted person, it is very easy to repent of your sins and correspond to the Dharma.
Second, although ordinary people cannot practice, they can establish correct knowledge so that they do not go the wrong way. This requires the study of the Mahayana scriptures.
However, the Mahayana scriptures mostly talk about the various physical qualities of the true heart, because the true heart is far away from the six dusts and is not in the mind. If we think with a conscious mind, we will inevitably misunderstand, and many people will get the misunderstanding of "interpreting the meaning according to the text": "what the Mahayana scriptures say, contradict itself, and do not know what to do".
In the ordinary position, recitation and practice are the mainstay; Even doubting and believing is better than slandering the Dharma. And slow-hearted people, strong and difficult, are very easy to slander Mahayana.
The above two points need to be "soft-hearted". If you don't have a soft mind, you will have a slow heart, and you will turn away and even slander the Dharma. Secondly, those who have a soft heart, if they have enough merit and resources, can encounter the knowledge of truth and goodness.
If you don't have a soft heart, you won't know if you pass by on the other side, and you will even slander good knowledge. Again, if a person with a soft heart cultivates the Pure Land, at the end of his life, he is more likely to succeed than a strong person. Thirdly, those who have a soft heart are prone to have a sense of respect for the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, and their faith is gradually strengthened, and their merits are becoming deeper and wider, and they will surely be able to prove their sincerity as soon as possible.
As mentioned above, the merit of reversing the softness of the heart is not as good as one.
May all scholars be as Master Yinguang said: "All people are bodhisattvas, and I am the only ordinary man", and always strengthen this mentality, which is of great benefit.
Nan no Master Shakyamuni Buddha.

There are many meanings, but the most common one is compassion!
Nothing else can be said.
-
The so-called "soft heart" is the "compassion" of Buddhism. What is compassion?
Compassion is a special Buddhist term, which is the combined name of "compassion" and "compassion", is one of the basic teachings of Buddhism, and is one of the highest goals (wisdom and compassion) pursued by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in Mahayana Buddhism.
Compassion is different from the "compassion" we usually understand, the "compassion" we understand, for example, "so-and-so is very compassionate and compassionate", in fact, it means "having compassion, or mercy because of love", and "compassion" in the Buddhist sense is "pulling out suffering and happiness", where "compassion" refers to bringing benefits and happiness to others; "Sadness" refers to sweeping away the disinterest and sorrow from the hearts of others. Therefore, loving all living beings and giving happiness (and happiness) is called compassion; empathizing with their suffering, having compassion for sentient beings, and removing their suffering (pulling out suffering) is called compassion; Together, they are called "compassion." This kind of compassion is the great compassion in the mantra of great compassion!

The purpose of studying Buddhism is to persuade oneself in the past, to analyze and judge oneself through one's own spiritual cultivation, and to abandon some unnecessary worldly distractions. <>
Eventually, you will achieve peace of mind and gradually allow yourself to have a compassionate heart, which is why practitioners often say that monks take compassion as their heart.
A large part of the reason why Buddhism can really be handed down to this day is that Buddhism persuades people to do good. This is the most basic requirement for a monk at the beginning. Buddhism pays attention to the equality of all beings, whether it is a high-ranking official or a nobleman, or a husband and a foot seller, the attitude of treating monks should be the same.
This is the equality and kindness of human beings, and the harmony between Buddhism and nature, in the face of the kindness of every life, sweeping the floor for fear of hurting the lives of ants, cherishing the moth veil cover, these teachings, all of which are exhorting a person to have a good heart and a soft heart.

If we look at it in terms of the two-fold liberation method, all dharmas are void phases, because there is impermanence, there is no self, and selflessness is suffering, which is emptiness. >>>More
