China Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo China China Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010 (China Pavilion) is a theme pavilion representing China at Shanghai World Expo 2010, located in the core area of the Expo Park. The architectural exterior of the China Pavilion is themed "Crown of the Orient, Prosperous China, Granary of the World, and Prosperous People", representing the spirit and temperament of Chinese culture. Among them, "Chinese red", as the main color of the building, is atmospheric and calm, and it is also easy to understand by the world.

The design concept of the towering national pavilion echoes the regional pavilion at ground level, reflecting the correspondence between "heaven" and "earth" in Eastern philosophy. At the same time, the overall shape of the National Pavilion is based on the buckets in ancient Chinese wooden buildings, and draws inspiration from the bronzes of the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, but there are no interspersed beams, beams, deeds and other parts.

On the outer wall of the regional pavilion, the ancient Chinese seal script is also used to convey the message of the 24 solar terms. The urban garden named "New Jiuzhou Qingyan" on its roof platform introduces the concept of "Jiuzhou Qingyan" in the Old Summer Palace. Technology Applications: Some advanced technologies have been adopted in the China Pavilion to comply with the concept of environmental protection. All windows and doors are made of low-E coated glass, which reflects heat while reducing energy consumption. A rainwater harvesting system on the top floor purifies rainwater to flush toilets or vehicles.

The soil covering layer on the platform of the regional pavilion can save 10% of energy consumption.
