Zheng Zhenduo Zheng Zhenduo (1989-1958) was a modern writer, literary historian, famous scholar, and one of the active advocates of the New Culture Movement. Born into a poor family, he enrolled in the Beijing Railway Management School in 1917 with the help of relatives and friends, and after graduation, he worked at the Shanghai Commercial Press.
