The maintenance method of fire extinguisher is as follows:

1. Daily inspection

1) Check if the pressure is within the specified range.

3) Whether the metal parts such as the fire extinguisher's pressure handle, valve body, and thimble are seriously damaged, deformed, or corroded.

4) Check the powder spray pipe for aging and cobwebs.

5) Check whether the cylinder is deformed, whether there is rust at the bottom, and whether there are cobwebs.

6) Check whether the dry powder is agglomerate.

7) Check whether the fire extinguisher is within the effective use period. (4kg dry powder fire extinguisher for 10 years; 35kg dry powder fire extinguisher for 12 years; CO2 fire extinguisher for 12 years. ）

8) Whether the rotating parts on the frame of the cart-type fire extinguisher are loose, and whether they are flexible and reliable when rotating.

9) Check whether the items marked on the nameplate are clear and complete.

2.Routine maintenance

1) Clean and tidy the surface, powder spray pipe and safety pin frequently.

2) Lubricate and maintain the moving parts regularly.

3) Shake the cylinder regularly to prevent the dry powder from agglomerating.

4) When the pressure is lower than the specified range or the dry powder is seriously agglomerate, it should be repaired or replaced.

5) Dry powder and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers must be tested for water pressure after five years of factory filling with fire extinguishing agent, and then every two years. When the scrapping life is reached, it should be replaced in time.
