Try reading aloud and read more.

In the process of reading, we all encounter all kinds of problems.
For me, the most important thing is that the reading speed has not been improved, without reading speed, relatively speaking, reading slowly, reading slowly will read less, reading less reading shallow, that is to say, there must be a lot of reading.
I now understand why it is necessary to train children to read a lot in the middle grade, and at the same time, there must be a certain amount of accumulation, and on the other hand, in the process of massive reading, the reading speed will gradually improve.
Why is reading slow?
Yesterday, Teacher Fan Wei explained some methods to us, these methods are particularly practical for me, and we must train them.
First of all, we need to learn reading as a skill, to train, to practice deliberately.
Probably none of us have calculated our reading speed. I probably know that when I read a storybook, I read an average of seven or eight hundred words per minute, and because it's a storybook, I read it quickly.
When we know how fast we read, when we get a book, we have to split it according to our reading speed. How long will it take to calculate this book? Then set aside the time to finish the book.
When I didn't know how to do this, I probably arranged the progress based on how many pages or chapters there were in the book, and I didn't know how much time I spent reading these contents each day. When I knew that there was such a method, I looked through a book that I had read, and in fact, according to the reading speed, I could read three or four books in the same time.
Since reading slowly is forgetting, it is better to read it quickly. So when reading, do you choose to read it once in 5 hours or read it 5 times in 5 hours?
1.Don't have a voice in your head when you read. When I read, especially when I read books by familiar authors, I can't help but translate these words into the author's voice, as if he was speaking, which is actually a waste of time.
Hand-eye collaboration allows the eyes to move quickly, and the deliberate practice makes the sound in your head smaller and quieter until it disappears.
2.See as much as you can. Try to look long and wide enough. This approach reminds me of the first semester of the fifth grade reading strategies unit. The strategy for this unit is to improve reading speed, and the common methods are:
Concentrate and try not to read back to be more focused. Try to read words in sentences, not word by word. That is, to expand the field of view as much as possible.
3.Find keywords. As adults, when we are looking for key words, we should not find the central sentence in the expository essay like elementary school students, but try to grasp the key verbs or nouns in a sentence as much as possible to capture the center of the sentence as soon as possible.
4.Don't look back after looking at the past, in fact, looking back is the most time-wasting.
With these methods, can our reading speed be improved? Of course not, you need to practice, you need to practice every day, record every day, and your speed will improve unconsciously.

<> when we usually read and read, we put our eyes on the words of the book, and then start reading step by step by actively moving our gaze. This method will consume a lot of our attention. Because while we are reading, we also have to prevent problems such as eye missight and serialization.
Sometimes, because of the slow speed of eye movement, we are distracted and wander around the area, and we are unable to finish reading smoothly.
Using a pen or a finger to guide our gaze can avoid these problems. Because using the hand or pen to guide the line of sight can reduce the workload of our eyes, so that more attention can be used on reading itself, so that the brain can concentrate on reading, thus improving our reading speed and efficiency.
The specific usage is to place a guide such as a pen or finger under the line of text you are reading when reading, and then move the pen or finger "smoothly" to guide your gaze to read. It should be noted that when moving the pen or finger, do not stop often, move intermittently, and be smooth.
Don't move too slowly or too fast, and gradually increase the speed of movement based on what you can understand. Using this guided reading method correctly and practicing it can often increase our reading speed by two or three times.

In fact, people's reading speed and comprehension ability go hand in hand. In the past, we always fell into the misconception that only by slowing down can we understand the meaning of the article, but no, when you read quickly, the content of the eyes will increase, and when combined with the context, you can quickly understand the idea that the author wants to express.
1. Don't read it word by word
It is necessary to develop the habit of reading words and sentences as a whole, rather than reading them word by word. People who can really read always read line by line, or even several lines together.
2. Grasp the main points of the article
5w1h calligraphy, i.e. who, when, what, where, which, how. Almost all articles will contain the above aspects, and these are often the most important content of the article. When reading a book, we only need to grasp the main points of these articles.
3. Don't look back halfway
This is a mistake that many people tend to make when reading books. When many people read a book, when they see the middle position, there are some contents in front of them that they can't remember, and they look back again, which seriously affects their reading speed. It's like a snail climbing a wall, climbing three steps and taking two steps back, and the result is equivalent to climbing one step and wasting a lot of time.
4. Expand your reading horizons
Reading horizon, some people call it visual horizon, that is, your ability to read a few words at a glance. Some people can read two words at a glance, and some people can read ten words at a glance, ten words'Efficiency is certainly much higher than the speed and efficiency of two words. Learn to read by leaps and bounds and quickly find the information we need.
Fifth, the eyes and brain are directly reflected
The traditional way of reading is through the four processes of seeing with the eyes, reading with the mouth, listening with the ears, and the brain responding. This process is tortuous and long, not only exhausting and fatigued, but also directly affects comprehension and memory. In fact, when we read, we can directly respond to the brain after seeing with our eyes to improve efficiency.
6. Get rid of silent thoughts
As the name suggests, it is to read without saying aloud. In fact, we all know that as long as you don't read out the sound when reading a book, the speed will be much faster. Far faster than reading Morton aloud.
7. Time-limited reading
Give yourself the time to read, so that you don't get distracted, improve your concentration, and thus improve your reading speed. With time-limited competitiveness, competitiveness is stimulated, pressure becomes motivation, and motivation improves efficiency.
8. Write an outline of the article
The outline is the central content of the article, and it is a test of whether you have really mastered the article. The outline of the article on the regular page is also the cultivation and exercise of the ability to summarize and summarize.

You should develop the habit of timed reading outside of class. Timed readings can be done for 5 to 10 minutes each time, not too long. Because of the timing and fast reading, the energy is highly concentrated, and after a long time, it is easy to get tired, and the energy is scattered and boring.
When reading, write down the "start time", and when you finish reading, write down the "stop time" to calculate the reading speed. Write it down and stick to it for a long time, and you will definitely get obvious results.
Skimming: You have to learn to skim. Some are called skipping or browsing, and it is a specialized, very practical speed reading skill. Skimming refers to reading at the fastest possible speed, as if you were looking at a clear sign on the ground from a bird's-eye view of an airplane, in order to quickly get the gist or main idea of the text.
In other words, skimming requires the reader to read selectively, skipping certain details in order to grasp the general idea of the text, so as to speed up the reading. According to statistics, the reading speed of a well-trained skimmer reader can reach as high as 3,000 to 4,000 words per minute.
Scanning, also known as searching, is a fast reading technique like skimming. Skilled readers are good at using reading to obtain specific information to improve reading efficiency. Reading is a kind of quick reading method that quickly finds a specific fact or a specific information from a large number of materials, such as people, events, times, places, numbers, etc., and omits other irrelevant parts.
1 Read quickly, silently, not aloud.
Silent reading is reading silently, using only visual scanning of the text to understand the content, omitting the activity of the vocal organs, without considering pauses, stress, tone, rhythm, etc. Silent reading is the foundation for speeding up reading. >>>More
