5. When the player serves, the moment the ball and the racket come into contact, there can be no obstruction within the virtual triangle formed by the ball and the net post line and above a certain height, and one of the referees must be able to see the player's hitting point.

Regarding the table tennis table, the upper surface of the table is called the table top, which should be a rectangle parallel to the horizontal plane, long and wide, and the distance from the ground to the table is 76 cm high, and the table surface during the game does not include the side of the table top.
