Located in the famous coastal city of Portsmouth in the south of England, the University of Portsmouth developed from the Goldsport College of Arts and Sciences, which was established in 1869 and began to award bachelor's degrees in 1900. Langstone Campus.

The Langstone Campus is located in the Milton district east of Portsmouth, close to Langstone Harbour, and is mainly a residential area, Bridge State and the school's sports grounds. The Langstone Campus has three main halls of residence, (QEQM), Trust Hall and Langstone Flats. A free school bus runs every 20 minutes between the dormitory and the teaching area from Monday to Friday.

Downtown Campus.

The downtown campus contains the school's main buildings, which are located in the heart of the city, with the Minshu Building and seven student residences concentrated in the Southsea district.
