2. Physical and chemical exploration.

3. Mineral exploration.

1966 In 1969, during the geological exploration of the Sanshan Island mining area in Laizhou City, the 807 team of the Shandong Provincial Geological Bureau carried out preliminary work on the periphery of the mining area and determined the existence of the ore site, but it was limited to surface work. 1981 In 1983, the Sixth Geological Team of Shandong Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources traced from the known Sanshan Island tectonic belt to the south and west, and found a shallow ore body between the 16 47 lines, and roughly constructed 15 boreholes according to the engineering spacing of 120m and 200m, with a workload, of which 8 were effective boreholes, of which 6 boreholes were ore encountered, and 348 basic analysis samples were taken, but it was limited to the lack of understanding of the structural occurrence and mineralization law of the Sanshan Island-Cangshang fault tectonic zone at that time. The prospecting area is arranged in the south-west extension direction of the Sanshan Island metallogenic belt, and the exploration system and engineering are established according to the occurrence of the alteration zone of the Sanshan Island gold deposit (trending NE40°, trending SE, dipping angle 40°), so that the designed part of the borehole does not see the ore-bearing structural alteration zone at the expected position, and the prospecting effect is not ideal, and the survey work has not made progress for many years.
