What people hold in their arms and miss in their hearts is love and desire, and this love and desire hinders us from seeing the nature of our hearts and from seeing the Tao.

For example, when the clear water is muddled with their hands, all the people come to the water, but no one can see their own shadow in the water. People, all day long, if you want to love, to lust, to think about such unclean things, then in your heart, wisdom is muddy, and without wisdom, this is turbidity, so you don't understand the Tao. If you don't have the sloppy and dirty dirt of love and desire, you can see the Tao and attain the results when you cultivate the Tao.

Chapter 16 shows that the heart of ordinary people is originally clear, but if you muddy it, it will not be clarified. What is clarification? It is the Word.

Not clarifying? It's love. This lust hinders us from seeing the nature of our minds, from seeing the Tao, that is, from attaining fruition.

To attain the first fruits is to see the Tao, that is, to see the Tao.

Buddha said: The Buddha said that people have love

This method is very unreasonable for Westerners to talk about Huai Qibi, and Westerners talk about love and desire no matter what. What people have love and desire, what people hold and miss in their hearts is love and desire, and everything talks about love and everything about desire.

Those who do not see the WordFor example, clear water, so that the hands stir it

You have a desire to love and you don't see the way, like what kind of sleepiness? For example, the clear water was muddled with your hands. Because there is some sand and mud in this water, and there is some dust in it, and if there is no dust, if you stir it, it will not be muddy.

What is this mote? It's love. This lust is like dust in water; Lust is like stirring it with your hands.

All the people came, and there was no one who saw itAll the people come to the water, and they are present with the water, that is, they stand by the water. But no one can see that there is a shadow of themselves in this water, why?

Just because you're muddy! Why don't you see the word? It's because you're lustful.

People are staggered with love and lust, and their hearts are turbid: People, all day long, they want to love, they want to lust, they want to think about such unclean things. Staggered, it's just that it's the same thing when you think about it.

Then in your heart, wisdom is muddy, and without wisdom, this is turbidity.

Therefore there is no way: So I don't understand the Tao, and I don't see the Tao when I cultivate and cultivate, and I don't see the fruit, and I don't see the Tao, why? Just because you have lust; If you don't have love, you'll soon see the Word.

So the Buddha saidWait for the sand gate, and give up love: This shamman, including our bhikshus and bhikshunis, should give up their love and desire. This renunciation of love does not mean that:

Oh! I hate it, I lose my temper when I see a woman and drive her away. "It's not like that.

So what? If you want to see her, you don't need to hate her, but you don't want to be tempted or don't think about it. When you give up your desires, "giving" means giving out, as if you give money to others, and you have already given it, you can't have it anymore, so you have to give it up.

To whom? Give it to your father, give it to your mother.

Love is exhausted, and the Tao can be seen: If the dirt of love and lust is gone, you will be able to see the Tao and attain fruition when you cultivate the Tao.
