The air duct expansion joint is divided into two types: metal expansion joint and non-metal expansion joint, which are generally installed at the inlet and outlet of the fan. The following points should be paid attention to when installing:

1.The installation of expansion joints shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the technical documents of the fan equipment;

2.When the fan is connected with the expansion joint, the expansion joint should not bear external force and tension.

3.After the non-metallic expansion joint is connected, the nut on the inner side of the non-metallic expansion joint should be loosened, and the tie rod shall not be removed.

4.During the installation of the expansion joint that needs to be welded and connected, welding slag is not allowed to splash on the surface of the bellows or non-metallic parts, so as to prevent damage to the expansion joint expansion joint.

Non-metallic expansion joints are mainly installed on flue duct pipelines, and often appear at the inlet and outlet of fans. There are basically two types of connections: flange connection and pipe welding.

1) The compensator with flow direction requirements should be installed according to the requirements of the medium flow direction arrow.

2) The pipeline of the corrugated compensator, non-metallic expansion joint and expansion joint must be properly guided and fixed in order to make the compensator play a role, so the setting of the guide and fixing bracket must be carried out in strict accordance with the relevant technical data of the design department. 3) Before installation, the bellows and foreign objects in the pipeline should be removed to ensure the normal movement of the bellows.

4) The bellows for compensators, non-metallic expansion joints, and expansion joints are formed with thin-walled stainless steel plates, so it is necessary to pay attention not to damage the bellows due to knocking, scratching, arc starting, welding spatter and other reasons during transportation, hoisting and welding.

5) The installation of compensators, non-metallic expansion joints and expansion joints should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the pipeline construction drawings and the installation instructions of the compensator.

6) In order to make the bellows in good working condition, the deformation of the compensator, including axial, transverse, torsional, etc., can not be used to correct the installation error of the pipe system position during installation.

Non-metallic expansion joints are mainly composed of non-metallic ring belts, thermal insulation materials and steel structures, among which non-metallic ring belts are composed of non-metallic materials such as fiber fabrics, silicone cloths, fluorine materials, etc. Pay attention to the following when installing:1
