It is the third collection of ancient Chinese poetry after the Book of Songs and Chu Ci. It includes a collection of poems from the Western Han Dynasty to the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasty. It has always been believed that it was compiled by Xu Ling of the Southern Dynasty in the middle of the Liang Dynasty.
It contains 769 poems, including 8 volumes of five-character poems, 1 volume of songs, 1 volume of five-character and four-sentence poems, and a total of 10 volumes. Except for the "Song of the Yue People" in Volume 9, which is said to have been written between the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the rest are all works from the Han Dynasty to the Liang Dynasty. In the process of circulating "Yutai New Song", some people have been in turmoil, so some people suspect that this book was not compiled by Xu Ling, but by someone later.
But this is not conclusive.

Yutai Xinyong is a collection of poems. 1. "Yutai New Song" is the earliest extant poetry collection after "Book of Songs" and "Chu Ci". It is divided into 10 volumes, selected from the Han and Wei dynasties to Xiao Liangju or 769 poems, many men and women love each other, Qiluo fat powder, sorrow and resentment, among which the popular "Ancient Poems for the Slow Model Jiao Zhongqing's Wife" (also known as "Peacock Flying Southeast") was praised by the Qing Dynasty poet Shen Deqian as "the first long poem in ancient and modern times", the poem was first seen in the "Yutai New Song", so that we can get a more glimpse of the original appearance of poetry in the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
2. There have always been many versions of "Yutai New Yong", such as the movable type version of Wuyunxiguan in the twenty-eighth year of Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty (1549 AD), the movable type book of Lan Xuetang of Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty, the Yang key edition of Huating Huating of the Ming Dynasty, the republication of Mao Yuanjiao and the "Sequel" in the seventh year of Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1579 AD), and the republication of the Song version by Zhao Junxiaowantang in the sixth year of Chongzhen of the Ming Dynasty (1633 AD).
3. According to the research of relevant scholars, the earliest version of "Yutai New Song" should be the surviving Dunhuang scroll of the Tang Dynasty. According to Mr. Shi Tingyong's "Rare Editions of Ancient Books", Mao Ben "The pen is graceful, the engraving is beautiful, and the words are engraved with the edition, but the cloud is good." With the Song book to investigate, the order is disordered, and the words and sentences are lost and incalculable.
Chongzhen Guichou (that is, the sixth year of Chongzhen, 1633 AD), Zhao Jun of Wujun obtained the father's copy of Chen Yu from Song Jia, and copied it to pass it on, sweeping away the filth of history.

The original text and translation of the preface to the new chant of Yutai are as follows:
Original text: The sails are as blue as snow on the mountains, and as bright as the moon among the clouds.
Wen Jun has two intentions, so he decided to break up.
Today's wine fight, Mingdan ditch head.
On the ditch, the ditch water flows from east to west.
Sad and miserable, there is no need to cry when you get married.
I wish to have one heart, and the white head will not be separated.
The bamboo pole is curling, and the fish tail is so curling!
Men are heavy-minded, why use money knives!
Translation: Love should be as pure as the snow on the mountain and as bright as the moon among the clouds. I heard that you have two hearts, so I came to break with you.
Today I will have a final meeting of wine, and I will break up in Goutou early tomorrow morning. I slowly moved my steps along the ditch, and my past life was like a ditch flowing eastward. When I resolutely left home and went away with you, I was not like ordinary girls crying sadly.
I thought that if I married a happy man who was affectionate and attentive, I could love each other until I was old and happy forever. The love between men and women is as light and soft as a fishing rod, and the fish is as lively and lovely. Men should be affectionate and righteous, and the loss of sincere love cannot be compensated by any amount of money and treasure.
Appreciation: Jin Ge Hong's "Xijing Miscellaneous Records" contains: "Sima Xiangru will hire the daughter of Maoling as a concubine, and Zhuo Wenjun will write "Baitou Yin" to self-denial, and the same is the end.
However, "Song Shu Le Zhi" said that "Baitou Yin" and other "Han Shi Street Mo Songs", that is, folk songs. "Yutai New Song" contains this poem, titled "Snow on the Mountain", and even the title has nothing to do with Zhuo's.
Xijing Miscellaneous Records is a ** family dialect, and the relationship between Wenjun and Wenjun has not been tasted to this point, so Yun Wenjun made it, and it is obviously attached. The poem is a folk song, written in the voice of a woman who expresses her resolute words because she has abandoned her husband who is not attentive.
