The "Tutorial Textbook for the Qualification Examination of Registered Fire Engineers", organized and compiled by the Fire and Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Emergency Management and published by China Planning Press, will be revised soon.

1) Obtain a college degree in fire protection engineering, and work for 6 years, including 4 years in fire safety technology; Or obtain a college degree in fire protection engineering or related majors, and work for 7 years, including 5 years in fire safety technology.

2) Obtain a bachelor's degree or degree in fire protection engineering, and work for 4 years, including 3 years in fire safety technology; Or obtain a bachelor's degree in fire protection engineering or related majors, and work for 5 years, including 4 years in fire safety technology.

3) Obtain a double bachelor's degree or graduate degree including fire protection engineering, and work for 3 years, including 2 years in fire safety technology; Or obtain a double bachelor's degree or graduate degree in fire protection engineering related majors, and work for 4 years, including 3 years in fire safety technology.

4) Obtain a master's degree or degree in fire protection engineering, and work for 2 years, including 1 year in fire safety technology; Or obtain a master's degree or degree in fire protection engineering related majors, and have worked for at least 3 years, including 2 years in fire safety technology.

5) Obtain a doctor's degree or degree in fire protection engineering, and have been engaged in fire safety technology for 1 year; Or obtain a doctoral degree or degree in fire protection engineering or related majors, and have been engaged in fire safety technology for at least 2 years.

6) For those who have obtained the corresponding academic qualifications or degrees in other majors, their working years and the working years in fire safety technology will be increased by 1 year.

Registration conditions for the qualification examination of second-class registered fire engineers:

2. Obtained a college degree in fire protection engineering, and has been engaged in fire safety technology for 2 years; Or obtain a college degree in fire protection engineering or related majors, and have been engaged in fire safety technology for 3 years.

3. Obtain a bachelor's degree or degree in fire protection engineering, and have been engaged in fire safety technology for 1 year; Or obtain a bachelor's degree or degree in fire protection engineering or related majors, and have been engaged in fire safety technology for at least 2 years.

4. For those who have obtained the corresponding academic qualifications or degrees in other majors, the number of years of work in fire safety technology will be increased by 1 year.

According to the recent final review meeting of the China Fire Protection Association on the 2018 version of the Registered Fire Engineer Examination Guidance Textbook, the publication and distribution unit of the 2018 Edition of the Registered Fire Engineer Qualification Examination Guidance Textbook was changed from "Machinery Industry Press" to "Chinese Personnel Press"; At the same time, the copyright owner was changed from "Fire Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security" to "China Fire Protection Association".
