In accordance with Article 5 of the Measures for the Administration of Individual Foreign Exchange, banks shall, in accordance with the provisions of these Measures, handle foreign exchange receipts and payments, foreign exchange settlement and sales, and open foreign exchange accounts for individuals, and verify the authenticity of valid identity documents and relevant supporting materials submitted by individuals.
