Only before he leaves Earth will he reveal his identity to those who are very close to him. Before that, it looked no different from ordinary people.

There are two reasons why Buddhas and Bodhisattvas do not appear in their true bodies.

First: the blessings of all sentient beings are thin, and there is no chance to see the good and solemn appearance of the Buddha and Bodhisattva. Second: If sentient beings are strong and difficult to transform, if they appear in their true bodies, they will incur all kinds of slander, and will cause sentient beings to fall because of slander, how can the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas want to see?

This one. It's hard to say.

Maybe the timing is wrong.

Maybe only for some.

Because it is an incarnation, just like the emperor's micro-service visits, do you need to reveal your identity?

The Buddha told Su Bodhi, all the Bodhisattvas Mahasattva, that they should subdue their minds in this way. All sentient beings and the like, if they are oviparous, if they are viviparous, if they are wet, if they are incarnated, if they are colored, if they are colorless, if they are thinking, if they are not thinking, if they are not thinking, we will cause them to enter nirvana and perish. If it is the destruction of immeasurable and countless boundless sentient beings, there are no sentient beings who have attained the extinction.

Why, Su Bodhi, if the Bodhisattva has the appearance of self, the appearance of people, the appearance of sentient beings, and the appearance of the long-lived, that is, he is not a Bodhisattva.

The wonderful heart has no dwelling and is fourth.

Again, Subodhi, the Bodhisattva should have no place to dwell in the Dharma and practice in generosity. The so-called non-stop color giving, not stop the sound, fragrance, taste, touch, and dharma giving. Subodhi, the Bodhisattva should be so generous, not dwelling in the appearance.

Why? If a bodhisattva does not stop giving to each other, his merit is inconceivable. Su Bodhi, what is the meaning of the clouds?

The Eastern Void, can you think about it? No, World-Honored One. Su Bodhi, the thinking of the north and south is empty, can you think about it?

No, World-Honored One. Subodhi, the Bodhisattva has no dwelling and generosity, and the merit is also inconceivable. Subodhi, a bodhisattva should live as taught.

If it is reasonable, it is fifth.

Su Bodhi, what is the meaning of the clouds? Can you see each other in person? No, World-Honored One, you can't see it in person.

Why? As it is said, the physiognomy is not the physiognomy. Buddha proclamation:

Su Bodhi, all appearances are false, if you see all the aspects that are not the same, that is, you will see as they come" -- excerpt from the "Diamond Sutra".

It's not that it can't, it's that it's not necessary. Why do they reveal their identities? What are the benefits for sentient beings?

Sentient beings like supernatural powers, they like idols, so, pretending to be Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, they are the most happy, thinking that if the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas come again, they can be blessed, or whatever, and they always have a mentality of chasing magic, fame and fortune. Why do Buddhas and bodhisattvas make the ignorance and attachment of sentient beings heavier? Not necessarily.

Moreover, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas also began with the cultivation of ordinary people in Bodi, and anyone who is willing to learn can become a Bodhisattva and a Buddha in the future. Why do you want to blindly pursue idols. Therefore, when the Buddha and Bodhisattva come again, they will still show the identity of an ordinary man, so that you can see how the practice has come step by step.

They lead in front, and we follow behind, so that what makes sense to our achievements. It's not that he is a person who comes again, he can do anything, he can do anything, we are ordinary people, and we are not as good as others, so we will slack off. This kind of mentality is obviously a big obstacle to spiritual practice.

So, when they let sentient beings know that they are the second coming beings, that they are not beneficial to the achievements of the sentient beings, but that they are harmful, why should they let us know that they are the second coming beings? A true bodhisattva will not tell sentient beings that he is a so-and-so bodhisattva again. Pseudo-bodhisattvas like to tell others what they are in order to elevate themselves.

Just like a king, there is no need to explain how majestic he is, but a ** will pretend to be very similar.

And sentient beings have no wisdom, once someone is a Buddha and Bodhisattva come again, they will always pursue the next person, which is equivalent to creating opportunities for **. So, don't say anything about coming back to people, when a person practices the Dharma seriously, really thinks about sentient beings, and can make progress by studying with him, then you can respect, love, and study with him as a Buddha and Bodhisattva. That's the smart choice.
