How to connect your online neighbors on your computer and TV

The password required for network neighbor connection is the user name and password when logging in to the computer (administrator cannot be used), if not, please set it secretly in the user account management of the computer control panel.

1. Set up "Simple File Sharing" (which is necessary for sharing without user and password authentication).

Open "My Computer" first, click "Tools" in the menu bar in the window Folder Options View, tick "Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)", and click "OK".

2. Set up a shared network (this is necessary to display the shared folder in "Online Neighbors").

Right-click on the "Net Neighbor" property to set up a home or small office network, and next, select "This computer connects to Internet (M) through a gateway in a residential area or other computers on the network"; Next, the computer description and computer name are set by yourself; Next, reboot the system at the end. The name of the working group should be mshome; Next, select "Enable File and Printer Sharing"; Next, then the wizard automatically configures and waits for a minute. Select Complete the wizard.

I don't need to run the wizard on another machine (j); Next, you're done, restart your computer.

3. After restarting, if the shared consultation is placed on the D disk, right-click the D disk attribute Share to the bottom and hit "Share this folder on the network" to confirm. Then use the TV to log in to the online neighbor,The IP address of the computer will be displayed,After all the above operations are completed, you can do it。 Therefore, the main reason for not being able to connect is that the computer is not set up.

Foreword: LAN sharing is a headache, as long as you find the right way to set it up, it's actually very simple. The original version also needs to be set up, otherwise it can't be shared!

Chapter 1: The Premise of Sharing:

1.Change the name of a different computer and set up the same workgroup!

2.Right-click on My Computer Management Computer Management Local Users and Groups Users: Change the administrator username.

3.Manually set the IP address to the same CIDR block and the subnet mask and DNS resolution are the same.

4.How to set up DNS resolution: First, you can use auto-fetch, then enter cmd in the start of running and press enter, and enter in ipconfig all in the command.

Chapter 2: Preparation for Sharing (Note that it is best to restart it after the setting is completed).

1.Start Settings Control Panel Firewall Exceptions Tick "File & Printer Sharing"! Of course, you can also turn off the firewall.

Disable "Network Access: Do Not Allow Anonymous Enumeration for SAM Accounts" Note that this only applies to guests and will be discussed in Chapter 6.

Disable Account: Local accounts with blank passwords are only allowed to log in to the console.

3.Double-click on My Computer to open Explorer, Tools, Folder Options, View, and remove the checkmark in front of "Use Simple Folder Sharing"!

4.Set up a shared folder or shared drive letter.

Open Explorer, right-click on the D drive, Sharing & Security, left-click to open.

If you don't want to buy a new device.

1. Both computers are equipped with network cards.

2. Make a connecting cable, the wiring method can be found on the Internet, pay attention to whether there is a jumper 3, set the IP of the two machines to be similar, and you can do it.

There are routes as well as workgroups.

Establish a working group. Take XP as an example, right-click "My Computer" - Properties", in the "Computer Name" tab, click the "Change" button, enter the name of the working group in the "Working Group" text box below, and enter whatever you want, as long as the two machine working groups are the same.

Or, right-click on My Computer, select Properties, and then click on the Computer Name tab to see if your LAN workgroup name, such as "workgroup", appears in the tab. Then click the Network ID button to start the Network Identity Wizard: click Next, select This machine is part of a commercial network, use it to connect to other working computers; Click Next, select Company uses a network without a domain; Click the "Next" button, then enter the team name for your LAN, here I recommend using "broadview", click the "Next" button again, and finally click the "Finish" button to complete the setup.

Then restart the computer, and after restarting, you can see it in your online neighbors!

You need to use a local area network.

Go to Neighbors and view the workgroup.

First of all, two computers are not connected by an online neighbor, but by two connected computers that can access each other through an online neighbor.

Secondly, the easiest way to connect two computers is to install a network card on each machine, and then connect them with a network cable. (If you don't have a network card or network cable, you have to buy it, this is the most basic equipment).

Another way is to connect through a router or switch. In addition to two network cards and two network cables, this method naturally requires a router or a switch. Install the network card on two machines, and then connect the two computers to the router or switch through two network cables.

PS: If you don't have Internet access and just ask to connect two computers into a small LAN (local area network), then I recommend you to use the first method, because this method is the most economical; If you're going to surf the Internet (in the future) (adsl or something), then I recommend buying a router (i.e., using the second method).
