Refer to the following:1First, open the file you want, create a new assembly, and assemble the two parts into it. Assembly locations are placed according to their own intentions.
2.Then in the component menu bar, select the "Component's Actions" option in the open one, as shown in the image below.
3.Then click on the "Cut" option in the pop-up window as below screenshot shown.
4.Then you can see it has been split and separated, and you are done as below screenshot shown.
