1. The dry paving method is often used for the paving construction of ground tiles, while the wet paving method is often used for the paving of wall tiles;

2. Compared with wet paving, the dry paving method requires the cement mortar to be applied on the back of the brick, and the dry paving method needs to lay the dry ash layer of hard cement mortar at the base layer.

3. The thickness of the space occupied by the two is also different, the thickness of the dry paving method of ceramic tile and cement mortar layer is about 4-6cm, and the thickness of wet paving method of ceramic tile and cement mortar is about 2cm.

1. The methods are different.

Dry paving method is the floor tiles, theoretically speaking, the dry paving method should be used, and the base layer is watered and moistened, and the floating sand and debris are removed.

2. The effect is different.

When the floor tiles are wet paved, the wet paving is due to the more moisture in the mortar, and the water is unbridled and evaporated in the solidification process, which is very tolerant of some small bubbles, so that there is a gap between the floor tiles and the mortar, thus causing the hollowing phenomenon. Therefore, the use of wet paving for ground paving has been gradually eliminated.

The dry paving method effectively avoids the cracking of bubbles, hollowing and other phenomena caused by the ground brick in the paving process, but because the dry paving method of the ground tile is more labor-intensive, and the technical content is higher, the cost of the general dry paving method is much higher than that of the wet paving method.

3. The functions are different.

Before the tile paving, the treatment requirements of the base layer are much higher than the requirements of the wet paving method, this is because the moisture is relatively less when the dry paving is done, once the base is not wet, then the base will absorb a large amount of water in the mortar, which leads to the mortar and the base layer are not firmly bonded, and the mortar of the wet paving method has a large water content, so the effect is much better than the dry paving in this regard.

The selection of dry paste method reasonably avoids the appearance of small bubbles, bulging and other situations caused by the laying of ground tiles, but because the dry paste method of ground tiles is more time-consuming, the scientific and technological content is relatively high, and the price of dry paving method is also very high.

Wet paving method: is a lot of home decoration community owners widely used floor tile paving method, the difference between this layer of processing technology and dry paving method is replaced by a three-to-three dry concrete mortar for general water and concrete mortar. The selection of wet paving method of tile floor may cause wall hollowing and bubbles, interfering with the service life of the floor tiles, but because the wet paving method is simple in actual operation and the price is very low, the vast majority of home paving floor tiles should also use wet paving method.

Dry paving and wet paving is the two ways of pavement floor tile parquet, from the overall actual effect, the quality of dry paving and wet paving is actually similar, just for different conditions to choose the method is not the same, from the details of the words, dry paving will lead to less bulging situation, if you want to reduce the empty drum rate, before using to soak in water for 20min. In the past, when laying bricks, they were all wet paving, but now due to the improvement of technology, many construction teams will choose dry paving when decorating, and I personally think that the effect of dry paving is also better, and it is also very cost-effective.

The time required is not the same, the degree of firmness is different, and the wet laying of floor tiles is better, which can effectively avoid hollowing.

Dry paving method. Wipe the adhesive layer, use 1 - 3 dry cement mortar, flatten along the horizontal line, put the bricks on the mortar, compact them with a rubber hammer, remove the floor tiles, pour in the cement slurry, and then put the floor tiles on and shake them flat. The dry pavement method effectively avoids the occurrence of bubbles and cavitation phenomena generated in the process of floor tile paving.

However, due to the high labor intensity and high technical content of the dry pavement method of floor tiles, the general dry pavement method is better than the wet pavement method. The cost of the law is much higher.
