8) If the battery housing is intact, check if the generator is overcharged.

9) Make sure the battery hold-down bolt and hold-down plate hold the battery in place. The torque specification for the hold-down bolt is 8 l0 nm.

10) Check the cable insulation along the cable for damage or wear, and replace the cable if necessary.

11) Check whether the cable is broken or worn, and ensure that the cable is fastened to the terminals.

12) Check whether the terminal clamp is firmly fixed on the battery binding post, and replace the terminal if necessary. Tighten the terminal clamp nut to the correct torque specification, the battery terminal nut torque specification is 2 5 Nm.

Maintenance methods for ordinary car batteries.

If it is an ordinary battery, only step 6 needs to be changed to the following steps, and the rest of the steps remain the same:

1) Remove each vent cover and check the liquid level of the electrolyte, if the liquid level is lower than the lower limit mark on the battery housing, distilled water should be added moderately, but not beyond the upper limit mark.

2) If the electrolyte is consumed excessively, check whether the battery housing is damaged. Note: The normal amount of electrolyte used should be less than 30ml 10000km

Forgetting to turn off the lights in the car when parking and turning off the ignition is a small mistake that many new car owners tend to make.
